Thanks for the reminder that the baseball season is upon us , I wasn't sure what is was called ... But seriously , buxton is playing loose and fun to watch ... The 3 acquisitions have played better than anyone thought and yes it appears we have a surplus of young arms ready to take a turn or two , maybe even secure a permanent spot in the rotation ...

If zebby continues to improves as a starting pitcher , he could be a playoff starting pitcher ... First we have to win win and win to get to the playoffs ...

Can't believe everything put to ink or heard ... I can't believe the responses about Jax , yes he hasn't been the Jax of last year , but his bad start to this season and everyone wants him demoted , alot of the players are off to slow starts , things aren't working out great so far for Jax but there is no need to sweep him to the gutter just yet ... Last couple of years everyone praised how Jax pitched, now the same fans are thinking he is cooked , it's early in the season and time for jax to turn it around , it's not time to be fickle about one player ... The twins FO came into this season 2025 as pretenders on contending , we fans knew it was going to be much of the same from 2024 late season crash , we just didn't expect jax to be the one to start out this bad ... Jax for one cannot pitch consecutive days and be effective ( i know he had 1 day off between mets series and Atlanta , but he pitch 2 days consecutively against mets on wed.and thur . ), just like Taylor Roger's couldn't pitch effectively on consecutive days ... Also when jax is on his game he throws less than 15 pitches to get through the inning , if he's not on his game Rocco should pull him after the 3rd batter but Rocco wants relievers to eat innings and then the results aren't favorable ... It was another bad game for jax , it's been a brutal start to his season but I'm not ready to throw him overboard for fish food ... This is just what my eyes have seen of jax career as a reliever ...

I posted on a thread today about Jax that I wasn't worried , I'M WORRIED NOW ... Still better than pagan ...

Jax should be fine , he's a bulldog and has the intelligence to work it out ... I'm not concerned with Jax , I was concerned when they left him unprotected in the rule 5 draft 2 years in arow , I followed him in the minors as a starter and always liked what I saw ... Aye aye captain ...

Buxton has been aggressive on the base paths ... Once again he is fun to watch on the bases and as a centerfielder ... He's healthy for now on his feet and showing more enthusiasm than others , let's hope he can get his bat going and help the offense ...

There are very many unanswered questions with this team ... Who is held accountable , 2021 , 2022 , first half of 2023 and 2024 were unacceptable performances for a major league team ... FO , Rocco and coaching staff is accountable for constructing and developing this team ... The players are accountable by playing baseball with no passion of the game , just a job collecting a paycheck ...

No wins in development leagues , that's the way the ball bounces once in awhile ...

Yesterday our hopes are soaring with the possibility of keashall helping the offense ... This article kind of deflates that hope some as he may not be ready ... Either he performs or fails , it's worth the try ... I'm in agreement with others of our coaching at the major league level , they haven't done well in taking talent and coaching players to major league talent ... The coaching does not stop at MLB , but it's different for every player on how to get the most production ... Let the kid hit and run while he's here filling in for injured players ...

Maybe bat him second , he does have speed and contact skills scouts praise ... Rocco will do what Rocco will do ...

It's good news for the keashall kid, hope he runs with it and gives the fans plenty to root for ...

Thanks Seth , articles like this are welcomed ... 10 to 12 games is a small sample size , in the next 10 to 12 games , these same players could turn the tables the opposite way ... Just saying , it could happen ... Always want our prospects to do well and be promoted to the next level ...

We've waited for jeffers to be a consistent hitter for years , jeffers is who he is , a streaky hitter with some power ... Yah we could use a good streak by jeffers now , but that can be said of almost all of our current lineup ... We need consistent hitters and run producers , to much streakiness , Kepler was another streaky hitter , buxton also falls into that category ...

It has been an ugly lineup for most of the season , with the switch of Julien leading off and wallner moved down a few spots it was starting to look better ... Now injuries again and the lineup might look ugly again ... Again why aren't these players reporting their injuries , Miranda injured but not reported until he gets demoted , Correa dealing with wrist last year and I'm sure the team was notified but thought rest was the answer , now he may be headed to IL list ...

They also have been getting a leadoff batter on base more often during the past few games ...

This game was resting PG for pretty good but the rating is changing to R for rotten ...
