    The bare minimum payroll , that's the twins way , plus HOPE ... Yes , buxton , Correa and Pablo get the big bucks but the rest of the players end up with chicken feed , we need more than 3 quality players for this team to consistently win from aprìl to October ( consistent is the key word ) ... They're not selling tickets to me at twins fest , spring training or target field until there is excitement for this team to be a contender , it's just not worth my investment , I love the history of the twins franchise and good to great players , but the last decade has been a difficult pill to swallow watching us dumpster diving and making some bad trades just to put fans in the stands ...

    30 years of good memories at HHH metrodome , can't really pick any memory better than game 7 of world series ... Baseball always has exciting moments , this off season is not one of them ...

    Yes it is sad , but I've been chuckling at most of the responses more than any post this year ... They only have 1 more 40 man roster spot to add , after that if they acquire someone , someone will be dfa'd off the 40 man , start making your list ...

    Just exactly what I was expecting , a lump of coal that was dug out from the ground 29 years ago ... It's another head scratcher when we don't have a surplus of lefthanders for the bullpen ...

    We need catching in our system , but a 29 year old , hope it works out ... We need a left hander on the 26 man roster and we trade a lefthanded Moran ... We just might try and sign theilbar on a minor league contract , because we only have funderburk and headrick on 40 man roster ... Not what we wanted and yes falvey isn't paying attention to our wish list , never will , he continuesto do the opposite of what the fans want , payroll restraints or not .....

    We need defense , hitting , pitching and good health ... Not to worried about the pitching as much as the hitting , I sure hope the new hitting coach can do something about the players approach with 2 strikes , get the players to hit the pitch the other way , spraying the ball around to all fields will go along way to a successful season ...

    Kepler has left the twins organization for a 1 year contract with the Phillies ... I see teams only giving him 1 year contracts as he bounces around from team to team year after year for the next 5 season ... They may like his defense but his streaky hitting they probably won't tolerate him for any big payday ... I wish him well , his defense was pretty darn good but has slipped the past couple of years , maybe injuries contributed to that ...

    Prielipp has a chance definitely as a relief pitcher in 2025 , but what about canterino , the report is he is healthy for spring training ... Two great prospects that haven't stayed healthy , it only makes sense that they are used in the bullpen to at least start their careers in MLB ...

    At the beginning of the offseason we the fans were told that the FO was going to be creative ... After the winter meetings the fans were told we will have to wait and see ... Sitting on their a$$es neither one is getting done , if the team wants to drop contracts , I personally think it should be done ASAP in the off season , so there is the rest of the offseason time to fill the holes ... Maybe we will get a Christmas present in our stocking but it's doubtful , I'm expecting the same as past years , a lump of COAL ...

    Someone needs to earn the position , they can all be optioned if they don't come ready to play in spring training , I know you don't like keirsey Jr but if he out performs the others , he makes the team ...

    Julien has to earn his way back from AAA , Lee has to have a decent spring training to make the opening day lineup , his swing was slow , he definitely was not 100% coming back from injuries , so if he's totally healthy , it's possible he makes the club out of spring training ... Lewis , sure hope the injuries subside and we can see what a full season of play would look like ...

    Shoulda , woulda , coulda ... Team for sale ( thank god ), Team pinching pennies , extentions are not happening at this time due to the pohlads exploring a sale of the twins .... When Ohtani signed his mega contract , I posted the pohlads woùld not be able to afford the price of doing business and a sale was in the future ... At this time , no extensions even though it is cost effective ...

    I'd say they are gun shy since the trades at 2022 deadline didn't work out ... Dobnak is not as talented as Jenkins , that dobnak out of the box contract was a head scratcher to lock up ...

    All I can say is, yes we need new owners that want to win more than just the regular season division ... That is how the pohlads operated , construct a team to be competitive and put fans in the stands for the season , they never constructed a team to be playoff contenders , never filling the necessary holes to put them over the top ... I can't speculate on what the new owners will do , but I wouldn't want to go through owners like Calvin or pohlad and sons again ...

    That's alot of creativity doc , and alot of holes to fill ... You missed one hole , Rocco is not a major league caliber manager ...
