    This article must of been written before Ken Rosenthal mentioned Lopez , Ryan and Buxton are staying ... So the 4 questions should be , 1 . Are you being truthful to the fans that you won't trade any of the above mentioned even if you get a blown away offer ? ... 2 . When are you going to resign Mr falvey , you are an embarrassment to this organization and can't live up to being the smartest person in the room ? ... 3 . Did you have conversations with the Mariners on trading for a quality starting catcher in Ford with team control , or did you muck it up like you have this whole organization ? ... 4 . Did you have a good night sleep at the motel 6 because your cheap owners could only afford that chain , I suppose you had a king size bed and you and Joe pohlad shared it ???

    I'll believe it when they break camp in spring training ... It's a business ploy at the moment to tell other teams we are holding on to our valued players , so other teams that are interested throws us a trade offer we can't refuse ... Never ever going to believe what this organization says , never ...

    We have been picked the past few years to win the central and that hasn't happened , the past few years we were picked to have one of the best bullpen, now thats gone ... The offense hasn't shown up , as of now I don't know if we are a 500 team to carry us to that mark ... To many uncertainties yet remain in the off season , trades or additions , right now I still feel we are going to trade off more valued talent, we might get a more substantial direction of their plan after the winter meetings but until us fans ( which are invisible to the owners and FO personal ) I have no choice but to believe this organization is flawed to contruct a consistent winning team ... ,,,

    Maybe during or after the winter meetings we will have something more substantial to talk about ... Since we don't exactly know what direction the owners and FO are going , it has everyone speculating that we are going to trade off the rest of our valued players , me included ... It would be nice to have a FO think more about the fans than they do , I feel invisible ...

    I had no idea the mets had that many players ranked in the top 100 prospect list ... Almost puts our number 2 of the 30 teams ranking to shame .... Trade rumors reports twins signed grant hartburg to minor league contract , not much to get excited about except someone has to be eliminated off the 40 ... It better be you know who ...

    That's kind of the point is we have the lefthanded outfielders but we keep adding more lefthanded outfielders that are no better , better maybe at defense , but not better at improving the line up ... . Like the enthusiasm ... Still way to early to predict how many wins we will have in 2026 , no idea of the direction we are going , hopefully by the end of the winter meetings we might have something more substantial .... Could be good or it could be bad ...

    I hope we are right that Jenkins is that super 5 tooled star in the making , we need it , i guess we can say that Buxton even though he has been injured alot has come the closet to being a super star from our system ... Lee had a lot of that hype but has so far shown nothing , but there is still time for him and hopefully Lewis can get on track cause time is running out on him ... Bad coaching at the major league level and the injuries haven't helped these players but maybe 2026 they will bust out after a regular injury free off season , just like buxton had an injury free off season in 2024-25, he had a very good season in 2025 ...

    If we hit the red button and blow it up and trade Lopez, Ryan, jeffers and Buxton , the twins might not even be a AAA team as referenced in the past ... We have experienced bad teams in the past and most recently 2021-22 and 2024-25 ... If it's blown up we will experience a team far worse than any of us have ever witnessed in the history of the twins ... It's not a good team now and we have 5 first round draft choices including buxton on this team for now ... I'll continue to watch twins baseball but the twins have gotten to be such an embarrassment in the MLB ... Justfor the record , I'm glad we have new coaches at this stage and I think that will help the current 26 rostered players change their attitude towards stepping up their play for 2026 , Rocco didnt have that capability to inspire his players to be the best , something better has to be done and we know the FO has to stay out of the game and let the coaches succeed ...

    I was thinking the same thing that Buxton had leverage in waiving his no trade clause and restructuring his contract for more money , he signed a friendly contract with the twins to remain a twin , he didn't sign a friendly contract to play for another team ,.. It makes sense that he would want more money to play for another team, its his right to ask for money to waive his NTC ...

    1 out of 26 are capable of claiming to be a major leaguers from our position players , thats bad , very bad but our starting pitchers are a team strength as of now ... besides buxton , someone should be able to find their upside and perform to an above average ... Keaschall , lewis and maybe Martin on the current 26 man roster ... If buxton wants to go play for Atlanta or a winner , I wouldn't blame him one bit , but it's going to be alot worse than 2021 -22 and 2024 - 25 without him even if he was injured alot during those seasons , he brought value to the team ... Will anyone go to the twins and watch them play at Target field , the diehards fans probably won't unless these players currently on the 26 man roster spark new life in their careers and our AAA and AA prospects live up to all the hype and can adjust to the major leagues ... I have a good feeling that our new coaches will have better results with the players in a new happier environment without baldelli ... If buxton wants out , we'll probably hear something more conclusive during the winter meetings , than just rumors , meetings are in florida , i suggest buxton goes down there with his family for some fun in the sun and also have a heart to heart talk with our FO personal ...

    OKOverall grade on the trades is a D- because not much major league ready prospects to help in 2025 to finish the season ... Roden got injured and Outman showed very little on a consistent basis , Abel had one good start so there is that , Bradley was Bradley , a move to bullpen makes sense ... Correa strictly a salary dump and it cost the team 33 million to do it ... Mendez for Bader is just a prospect maybe a year away , maybe less from making his debut and a lottery ticket ... Duran for Abel a starting pitching prospect that has high upside and a prospect catcher that is a few years away ... Paddack and dobnak , salary relief and a prospect catcher in return ... Castro for 2 minor pitchers , can always use pitchers but there also a few years away ... Columbe for horn , lefty starter and everyone needs lefty starters ... Jax for Bradley , coukd be a good return as I see him replacing Jax in the bullpen ... Stewart for Outman never made sense , outfielders we don't need , arms we do .. Varland for Roden and a high prospect of Rojas , but Roden an outfielder isn't really needed and he hasn't shown anything in 110 major league at bats ... Did we win , in my opinion trading our quality arms for prospects that were not quite major league ready wasn't the return that I would expect ... Teams are desperate to add quality arms and they seem to overpay , but I did not see falvey getting any teams to over pay ... Time will tell , just hope we give all these prospects a chance instead of hoarding them ...

    The twins have relied on prospects talent in past years at the major league level , that minor league hype hasn't proven to be productive at the major league level ... In baseball i don't live on hope , I live for production , maybe our new coaching staff can turn this around and they can coach these talented players at the major league level to be more successful ... It's wait and see for me , will new coaching help first rounders like Lewis , larnach and Lee turn it around in 2026 , can keaschall continue developing ... Im banking on a new livelier atmosphere helping these players perform better than under Rocco ...

    I know our TD writers love our twins and I do too ... Compete , ha .... Competitive , ha , ha ... Contend , ha , ha , ha .... They first have to find a team of Consistency ... Let's hope a change in coaching will help them achieve all this ... You may not believe what the owners or FO says but I speak the truth ... You want a change up pitcher bring back La tuga ...

    Yep , pretty lame , almost as lame as the twins played under Rocco , I sure hope shelton sparks the players to play like professional baseball players , would be nice to see improvements , something , anything , I'd also like to see improvement on TD , lame subjects that yes suckers us in ... I've been watching past twins baseball games since the season ended and I'm impressed with the way they used to play ,, even if it was a 500 team , they still played with heart and knowledge of the situation ...

    We don't need anymore strikeout kings in this lineup , we already broke the single season record for strikeouts , do we still hold that misfortune ... Hes playing winter ball not mlb ball , he proved he's not a major leaguer anymore with the twins and angels and couldn't make adjustments , stay in shape or play decent defense ... Please Cody , stop using the words contender in your articles , the Twins first have to be competitive before being contenders .

    Martin has earned more playing time , we need hitters and he would fit in nicely at the top of the order , so what if he doesn't hit homeruns , make a career of playing solid defense , hitting , stealing bases and scoring runs I'll take ... Roden hasn't proved anything with the bat yet with Toronto or the twins ( AAA stats are good , but you cant live on hope from AAA ) , defense with an arm , to bad he was injured so it was just a small sample with the twins .... Roden will be on the opening day roster and given a chance , I'm sure he has options available ...

    Alot of fans that go to the games are probably not hard core baseball fans watching the game ... There isn't enough of us passionate fans left and the numbers decrease year by year ... My point , WHY HAVE WE PUT UP NETTING ALL THE WAY DOWN THE RIGHT AND LEFT FIELD LINES , BECAUSE PEOPLE AREN'T THERE TO PAY ATTENTION TO THE GAME , so we have to protect them from injury because there are other things that are distracting them , watchingthe game isnt their priority ...
