  1. Current ownership, no Future ownership, hope not As for stolen bases, in the minors Twins farm hands steal bases. In the majors, it is a lost art. Why is that?
  2. If you can't grow your own, you have to at least make an effort to acquire them
  3. Another lefthanded bat that is not that good.
  4. Need more from the Dodgers. This is another Twins trade, sending 26 man roster players for prospects that don't jump off the page. Need more.
  5. The Twins player development/evaluation department has never been wrong before (sarcasm). Also a team that doesn't seem to want pitchers who throw lefthanded in their entire system. Does Moran pitch at some point the Red Sox? Maybe and Gasper won't get fans excited to buy tickets. A non move for what appears to be a team pretending to be major league.
  6. Lefthanded pitchers are endangered species in the Twins system. Plus we get another left handed bat I wish the Twins would act like a major league team
  7. Almost need decade categories. A lot of players are over looked or forgotten for what they brought to the Twins.
  8. First question should be - what does the current ownership and front office do with the continued media and fan apathy.
  9. As for some of the recent free agent catchers signing it shows more and more that the Twins over paid for Vazquez and that was almost 3 years ago. Poor decision making and player/salary evaluation
  10. It's interesting to see the speculation which looks more like getting out of the previous transaction that were made.
  11. Scouting and player development need immediate improvement. Players received in trades are mediocre or hurt. Prospects received in trades have been disappointing. Twins usually trade starting players for reserves and prospects that go nowhere.
  12. Adding only 2 to the 40 man roster doesn't show much of the farm system. Hopefully some of the before mentioned players, don't get lost.
  13. Everyone are tradeable. Don't trust Falvey to get a lot in return as past evaluation of incoming players has been poor. Under performing or in need of surgery or spending time on the IL
  14. They can predict all they want. The Twins always wait to grab what others have passed on.
  15. Why aren't the Twins drafting or finding catching prospects. When we hear of the Twins catcher prospects they are mostly no hit, not good defense or hitter first, not good defense. Another example of player development and scouting lacking in the organization
  16. If the price is right. You also need a good evaluation on what you want in return. Don't want players you are injured or injury prone. The Twins seem to trade starting players for reserves. Castoffs seem to play better when they leave the Twins.
  17. The Pohlad's are not 100% of the problem. Falvey who supposedly runs the show has blood on his hands too The carousel of pitchers coming and going from St. Paul to the Twins was awful. Scouting, player evaluation, player development are all lacking. Yes the Pohlad's pay the bills or might not allocate more money, but discussions made by the front office are not good, plus poor public relations puts us at the place we stand now.
  18. As we wind down the season the Players and FO are tip toeing out the door before the door hits them. It will be an interesting off season and hear the excuses and who knows what to build or improve the Twins in 2025. Rocco has turned most of the players into utilities types and the one's who are not utility players can't play 120 games of a season. Too many days off, too many injuries (They replaced the trainers because games missed previously, how did that work out?) No set lineups, pitchers who can barely pitch an inning, Pinch hitting in the early innings. I wonder if the Twins brass would attend a Twins Daily crowd focus group?
  19. First questions to be asked is how we get people to buy season tickets in 2025? Then willingness to spend money Player development and evaluation, existing players, potential incoming players and players being traded or released Public Relations overhaul A team that pinches penny's with one of the richest ownership, the Twins show minimal effort they want to win
  20. I hope he does well, but being an ROY candidate (or considered) is a reach at this point.
  21. Twins need right handed outfield bats. Too many lefty's: Kepler, Larnach and Wallner. Also have Jenkins and Rodriguez coming in a year or two.
  22. Manoah's older brother Erik was in the Twins farm system in 2021
  23. Where is Jair Camargo on this list?
