  1. Adam Pohlad - Currently redoing 3rd grade by the sheer force of billionaire money buying special privileges so he can "earn" his chance to run the Twins once he finished his high school education. Side antics with penguins included.
  2. Time to reign in the running for Dart, yeesh.
  3. Zero upside. Play Walter Rouse there and let's see what we got for a few games. Let Darrisaw rest and recover.
  4. Last night that game 100% turned on the special teams play. The Rams should've had that sewn up. Even good coaches, with a good QB, and a great team around them can flub games. The NFL is the king of parity. Darnold did nothing in that game that made me regret moving on. Also....WTF on that two point conversion? That felt like the officials on the headset decided "we don't know what to do. Call it a tie. That'll make everyone happy"
  5. Nacua didn't even know which teams were in the Rams' division. I'm pretty sure he's just stupid.
  6. If we go safety/corner I hope we end up trading back. I think the difference between the top 3 corners is relatively little. After Caleb Downs there is a nice combo of safeties that are all roughly equal. Deal back, get yourself an early 3rd or move up in the second. The more I look at this draft there are two things I really want to walk away with: a nose tackle and a linebacker. Those classes have some dudes in them. (I'm also a fan of a few HBs that are later guys: Jonah Coleman, LJ Martin, and Raleek Brown)
  7. This is true but also really hard to project. Take this from 7 months ago: https://www.espn.com/nfl/draft2026/story/_/id/44925346/2026-nfl-mock-draft-early-first-round-predictions-quarterbacks-trades-32-picks
  8. I'm by no means saying people can't feel offended, but I think it's important when leveling serious accusations that we accurately describe the behavior.
  9. Well, I'm not sure that characterization is completely accurate. Unless I'm missing something (and please tell me if I am) he watched someone do a proposed celebration dance that contained anti-semitic tropes and he laughed and said he'd do that in a game. Which, to me, is different than outright saying something anti-semitic. It could just be that Puca is kinda dumb, or unpolished dealing with the media, or naive and got himself caught up in the moment. (Speaking from experience I've only gained in the last ten years, people who are Mormon are often ridiculously naive about other religions. Like, jaw-droppingly so) Not a good look, but I think characterizing it accurately is important.
  10. Are we sure we want Flores and Tue reunited?
  11. Tom: "Joe, we're just going to let you go home, hang out with the wife and kids, and just be a good husband and father" Joe's Wife:
  12. Yup, success has been a struggle and I think he has had to learn to put better people in hockey ops. But you can count on them to be well run for fans and willing to be aggressive. I'll take that.
  13. At least Leipold is a good owner in his sport. Maybe some of that will rub-off on this conveyer belt of Pohlad descendents we keep casting off every couple years.
  14. I'm fine with the team pushing versatility....but then you need athletes who can pull that off. Drafting slow-footed middle infielders isn't the way to build that kind of roster. Also....now that we've had dust settle, people are recognizing that nothing they hated about Rocco was actually Rocco right? Like, clearly those of us who were screaming at you to realize it was Falvey have to be making sense to you finally now right?
  15. I kinda hope for the sake of Tua's brain that he just hangs 'em up.
  16. I'm strategically curious how many seconds will pass until they put the team up for sale after the new CBA is worked out.
  17. I think a rework/extension is far more likely. There are plenty of snaps for all the guys this team has on the edge, Turner just needs to keep earning them. Greenard could not be blocked last night. We shouldn't forget just how good he is because he's had a slightly down year taking on extra blockers because Turner wasn't making people pay like Gink does. (Turner has taken a nice step forward, but one position I'm not purposely downgrading is freaking edge rusher.)
  18. 8 pages eh? My god have we been starved as a fan base.
  19. Aaron Rodgers completing passes to Adam Thielen, DK Metcalf, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling like we're playing Madden 2019.
  20. Also...he's in his prime and really good? Why on earth is he on the cut list?
  21. Obviously I'd prefer better draft position, but I can't complain that the QB and the coach are starting to find a better rhythm. Make no mistake....JJ is still highly erratic throwing the ball and they are going to have to put in a lot of work this offseason, but he might be the guy. He's certainly making much better decisions in the pocket and that's the kind of growth you want to see. Clean up his base and maybe he won't try to remove JJ's arms at the shoulders every time he throws it to him. Run game was solid and KOC stuck with it. Progress! Pass rush was amped - Greenard looked absolutely unblockable today. Jordan Mason runs like he wants to punish defenses. I hope we keep him around. Hockeson actually looked like the TE we traded for last night!
  22. This is TD's horniest food post ever.
  23. Not sure...but they dealt for the guy most people consider the 2nd best D-man in the game.
  24. It's probably my 2nd or 3rd favorite version. Muppets reigns supreme for me, but I do appreciate the classic Carol mentioned earlier.
  25. That is a monumental trade. Give them credit....they aren't content to be mid.
