    I'm not a gambler. Yet I'd be willing to bet the house that Ohtani will be completely exonerated. The language of what's being reported all point in that direction. The language barrier allowed Ippei access to his accounts. Ippei impersonating Ohtani. Ohtani cooperating with DOJ. Giving up his cell phone. He's going to come out clean. No one's going after him. I'm not going to say he knew or didn't know what was going on. Whether he did or not, it won't matter. Ippei is toast. Unless he's got some secret recordings or some documentation of Ohtanis involvement.

    The difference between the good teams and the Twins. Opponents marquee players are doing what's expected. Twins, not so far. Yeah it's early. But how far can they fall before it's too big of a hole to climb out of?

    Betts airmailed one last night and it wasn't close because he DIDNT fly out of the box. So I guess he chooses the when part of that equation. Must not have been feeling it then. Byron Buxton is the best defensive CF. The rest. Not so much. But I guess Billy Ripken has to say something positive to get Twins fans excited

    Who thinks defensive metrics trump all else. Twinkle toes Kepler isn't a great RF. He's adequate. He seldom goes all out. Santana and Gallo are solid but if they can't hit they better be extraordinary defensively. Like Taylor is.There's a reason defensive replacements usually happen late in games. It's to get the most out of the better hitters. If defense was more important it would be the other way around.

    So you can go all out to dive and make a catch but cant run hard out of the box. Much higher % to get injured by hustling.
