  1. Maeda would be a 3 in Minnesota. So it's not a shock he's still in the league.
  2. No way. The Central is a cakewalk! 😄 Well at least to the supposed experts. The signs were all there. No one took any notice. It's not too late. But the ⏰ is ticking.
  3. That's because everyone else has been so dreadful. Not a notable achievement.
  4. I'm not a gambler. Yet I'd be willing to bet the house that Ohtani will be completely exonerated. The language of what's being reported all point in that direction. The language barrier allowed Ippei access to his accounts. Ippei impersonating Ohtani. Ohtani cooperating with DOJ. Giving up his cell phone. He's going to come out clean. No one's going after him. I'm not going to say he knew or didn't know what was going on. Whether he did or not, it won't matter. Ippei is toast. Unless he's got some secret recordings or some documentation of Ohtanis involvement.
  5. 1-9 with RISP. 6 hits total. Totally agree with your assessment. They won today. So we'll take it. Still a ways to go.
  6. And Kiriloff has to hit the cutoff man and he did
  7. It was questioned. It was answered.
  8. That and the 2 years left on his deal
  9. Umm I hesitate to say. Mr real pro rally has defended that move constantly.
  10. If Rocco pinch hits as he has done regularly there for the past 2 years. Me thinks, someone would defend it 🤔
  11. See Rocco. It can be done
  12. Kiriloff positioned on the warning track for ohtani
  13. No. Or he wouldn't have been available
  14. Eddie. Good things can happen if you swing at good pitches
  15. The difference between the good teams and the Twins. Opponents marquee players are doing what's expected. Twins, not so far. Yeah it's early. But how far can they fall before it's too big of a hole to climb out of?
  16. Betts airmailed one last night and it wasn't close because he DIDNT fly out of the box. So I guess he chooses the when part of that equation. Must not have been feeling it then. Byron Buxton is the best defensive CF. The rest. Not so much. But I guess Billy Ripken has to say something positive to get Twins fans excited
  17. Who thinks defensive metrics trump all else. Twinkle toes Kepler isn't a great RF. He's adequate. He seldom goes all out. Santana and Gallo are solid but if they can't hit they better be extraordinary defensively. Like Taylor is.There's a reason defensive replacements usually happen late in games. It's to get the most out of the better hitters. If defense was more important it would be the other way around.
  18. So you can go all out to dive and make a catch but cant run hard out of the box. Much higher % to get injured by hustling.
  19. Byron not running hard on that one. Sure it was routine. Until Betts uncorked a high throw.
  20. He hit the grand slam last year off Pagan while hitting about .170
