  1. AAAAaaaaaAAAAAAaaaaaAaaAAA. No reason to get carried away here and lose your mind.
  2. I know their stats, but thanks for posting them.... again. I live in LA, and what I have said about the Angels being tired of Santiago is accurate.
  3. I hate the slide on my butt to try to catch a fly ball. Both Rosario and Santana looked like Arcia on their misadventures
  4. Fun game to watch.
  5. This is a nothing trade. So what. The Angels were just as tired of Santiago as the Twins were of Nolasco. Meyer has the only up side of the 4. If the point is to get better, this is not the move that will do that. But at least I don't have to watch Nolasco grab his balls a record number of times a game, so the trade is a win from that standpoint
  6. The prospect on the rise? The only thing on the rise since moved to AAA is his ERA, and that is sky rocketing at that level.
  7. That's what has been said about the original trade. I too liked Meyer. But 4 years later it was a horrible trade. Tricked by hope and dreams.
  8. Because the shaggy one needs to stay down? Duffy is just so exciting. Yawn.
  9. Dozier, after all these years, still swipe tags and displays his glove to the umpire instead of keeping his glove on the runner. He misses many outs as the runner goes off the bag slightly. With instant replay, no need to ever show the umpire your glove. Just stupid. He also misses many outs by reaching out high instead of staying at the bag low. So aggravating.
  10. Just don't let Mejia and Rosario room together!
  11. Palanco up! Great! Nunez regressing on another team? Great! Berrios says to himself under his breath... great... Another pitcher to not bring up? Great? Mauer got 2 hits w/ a triple! WHAT!
  12. At 30 years old, I hope Albers is getting paid more than a pittance. That's the way to acknowledge him.
  13. Doing an informal survey... Rebuild or no rebuild consensus. Spycake in the rebuild column. If this is incorrect, please let me know.
  14. Antony fail. Over due for weeks.
  15. Well it had come full circle, and I saw the humor in that. It really does revolve around the different views of the definition. What they have and haven't done is in the books and history.
  16. ..... and you lost me at...... "rebuild"... but I respect your commitment. ;-)
  17. I think you have your own special definition. Gutting and starting over.... that would be the definition in my book, even if it means some of the pieces are new different veterans as part of the rebuild. Plus it happens all at once. If you rebuild a house, you tear it down and rebuild. But you can redefine it if you like. I would call what you are talking about as a slow remodel. By the time you get to the last pieces you already have to start replacing your first pieces. Teams are always looking to get young and utilize the farm, and that is all that has happened.
  18. Another exciting game from Mauer......
  19. Sano has the tools. Just needs slowed down and focused. And needs to catch 50 pop ups a day for a month.
  20. That Antony sure is quiet Tick tock.
  21. He can't be traded quick enough. .143, 4/28 in his last 7 games, and 0/5 today. Last 15 games not pretty either. Allstar my ass. But Molitor keeps batting him leadoff.
  22. So disappointing that Buxton can't hit major league pitching. Both him and Rosario easily fooled with the breaking stuff
  23. Buxton practicing leading off. Why practice stealing when you can just get a big lead?
  24. No waves. No ripples. Just normal drafting and tired mediocre pitching added to dumpster diving waiver cast-offs. Call it a special rebuild if you like. I would say more posters post about a rebuild than no rebuild, and the consensus is the opposite, but it would need a poll to make either statement true. So we will keep our opinions and disagree.
