Brooks Raley coming in......he was once a Twin right?

    Let's go pen!

With that HR from Garlick, he now has 10 HR in 110 career AB against LHP, which comes out to a HR in every 11 ABS....which is slightly more nuts.

Man this team needs someone to start hitting.

With that HR from Garlick, he now has 9 HR in 108 career AB against LHP, which comes out to a HR in every 12 ABs....which is pretty nuts.

Please quit hitting Byron with pitches!!!

I want to see them jump on Rodriguez early tonight. Extreme fly ball pitcher who's velocity is down. This lineup is built to crush starters like this. A nice outing from Paddack would be encouraging as well.

1st place four months from now? ?

It seemed genuine and he seems like a really well liked and great teammate. That being said, let's go win some ball games. The better this team performs the more likely it is an extension, at least IMO.

    Atta kid Keppy

Not to mention that it was just a great piece of hitting by Devers...inside and low, he just got around on it. That's an out in every other park in the league.

Assuming the next pitcher would have gotten out of the inning unscathed
  13. SwainZag
Still only 3rd career appearance and he hasn't pitched in 4 days?
  14. SwainZag
Was a nasty pitch to Martinez. 6 solid, 1 ER, 7 K's on 82 pitches. Very solid and economical day for Joe if he's done.
  15. SwainZag
Lost in the Buxton stuff.....Joe Ryan pitching very well. 46 pitches through 4 innings. Boston pitchers already over 100 for the day.

Ugh.....anyone who is watching, what happened? Leg? Ankle? Knee?
  17. SwainZag
Similiar to how Romo gets away with it as well.

With the Dodgers tomorrow and Archer on the mound, I can see the appeal of not using Winder in case things go south quickly.

Because Bundy has a history of getting teed up on the 3rd time through the lineup. He wasn't exactly blowing hitters away as evident by the 2 K's and you have 3 extra pitchers on the roster with the limited spring training. Let Bundy build on this outing and give the extended pen a little work. I see nothing wrong with it.

With a 4 run lead, I've changed my mind. Run Bundy back out there.
  22. SwainZag
Take the 5, give him an attaboy and get to the pen
  23. SwainZag
How much was Sano out by?
  24. SwainZag
Great confidence builder for the kid. Hopefully the first Opening Day start of many!

So you saw this and went immediately to worse case reaction? Not.... Holy **** we just signed a Top 3 player in baseball.
