    Looks like...1966. 10th out of 10 with a 70-89 record.

    Meh. Maeda went 4 innings. The bullpen needed to throw 5 innings given a 1 run lead since the offense decided to go 4+ innings without a hit. You can blame Rocco or Jax, but realistically, praying your pitching can hold a 1 run lead for 7 innings isn't exactly the best case scenario.

    If, and it's a big IF....but if this team can get back Ryan, Stewart, Buxton and Kirilloff for the postseason, the roster would be in pretty dang good shape. You gotta like the Twins chances in a 3 game series with the starting staff though. Who knows, gotta get there first.

    Interesting. Maybe I am just remembering the errors Solano has made at 1st. Though Fangraphs seem to support Solano being pretty underwhelming at 1st with negative marks across the board. Though Solano is a positive at each other infield position he has played.

    I know you loathe Gallo, but come on. He is a better defensive 1st baseman than Solano, and quite frankly is not even very close.

    And when Pagan gives up runs in his 2nd inning of work, this board is full of DFA Pagan, he can't be trusted, what TF was Rocco thinking Pagan can throw 2 innings in a 1 run game?! Hindsight is a fun game to play with managers, you can blame them for just about anything then.

    The Twins pen has been credited with 20 losses total on the season. Blaming 12 to 15 on Rocco is absolute insanity.

    Then again if it bangs off the wall, Lewis more than likely scores instead of being held at 3rd and even possibley 2nd depending on how quickly they get the ball back in

    When you need 5 innings from your bullpen with a 1 run lead... aren't they all high leverage?

    Baddoo had 1 walk in his last 19 games. He has 3 today. Pretty inexcusable for a guy hitting .220.

    Unfortunately expecting the bullpen to go 5 scoreless, while the offense goes hitless in those 5 innings isn't a great combo. Jax certainly looks like he needs a reset.
