  1. Also isn't the point of having a 6 man rotation is that it allows you to bring in one of your starters in a situation like that? Instead of relying on a dude with a 5.50 era?
  2. Berrios wouldn't have served up that ****ing meatball. That's for sure
  3. Only against Chicago. Other than that they are a fun team to watch.
  4. hockey season can't start soon enough
  5. How do you leave this bum in the game at this point? Seriously.
  6. What the ****ing ****ing **** is Molitor thinking bringing in Achter to face the ****ing best player in baseball. Jesus Christ.
  7. Email MLB support, if you complain they will toss you a nice discount at the MLB store at the very least 30% and often times will give you a month or two free next year
  8. Eddie has been smoking LHP lately it seems. Huge for his development.
  9. Holy ****! What a bomb! This resting hunter has paid off big time, old man has an encore for us after all!
  10. 4 would be good. 3 is a must. 2 or less and the season is over.
  11. All hyperbole aside.... Listening to Dilfer and Berman call a game makes me want to take a shotgun, load it up with ice picks, and blast it directly into my ear drums. Helen Keller is the only person in history who wouldnt have minded that broadcast. Good lord. Also the niners coach looks like Mike Tice's estranged cousin who had a windowless van that he lures children in with promises of candy and balloon animals.
  12. Scorching Hot Takes can't melt steel beams.
  13. um that would be a terrible trade since Glen is signed to a very team friendly long term deal and storen is a FA after next season...
  14. I highly doubt molitor is going to be the one who breaks that chain.
  15. I would like him, but the price will likely be too high, some team in need of a closer will likely over pay. If he was signed for more than one year, I would consider giving up a top prospect for him, but at this stage I would rather just go with Jepsen as the 8th inning guy, Perkins as the 9th and trade or sign a couple guys to be good in the 7th.
  16. Leidner is not a good QB (I have no rooting interest in the Gophs anyway for the most part) he's fine if you want to win 7 games or so and make some random bowl game, but from hearing friends talk they want the Gophs to contend for the division title. Won't happen with QB play like that.
  17. Liedner is terrible, Gophs will be lucky to win 7 games with him this year.
  18. Didnt see or really follow any of the game, but I see that Santana pitched well and Plouffe had 2 HR. Plouffe getting hot would be so insanely perfect at this stage of the season for so many reasons: 1. One more big hitter! 2. Protection for Sano! 3. Trade value UP! UP! UP! Keep winning boys!
  19. Ran into a drunk and angry Delmon Young?
  20. Honestly, Wrigley is a dump. There is nothing charming or good about that "stadium" Whether it's the disgusting bathrooms, terrible beer (old style is not a good beer), or the seats that are way too narrow for the average Cubs fan (280lbs+) it has got to go.
  21. AL won the All Star game! Of course it would be on the road.
  22. I wouldn't want them facing the Twins, not for nostalgic reasons, but for "I don't want to face Grienke and Kershaw for up to 5 games out of 7"Reasons.
  23. ok ok, wrigleyville burns to the ground and nothing is lost.
