Twins are a young team with a mass of AAA talent. We just need 2-3 of them to be AAAA talent by June…. I know…. Thats too much to count on to become a playoff team.

I sure hope gray doesn’t suck. Chase has a long way to go but he will be a stud!
  3. Fatbat
Does he really need to be ranked? All he really has to do is play his way into a lineup that has no legit SS.

Carew is my fav twin. Puckett had the better career because he won the big games. The grind is admirable but doesn’t beat the heroics.

The jury is still out. We need to win a ws and have Alcala and Celestino in the line up in the next 3-4 years to call it a win. If that doesn’t happen, it’s just a push to a dream that 2 youngsters can be better than a known commodity.

    2022 = Development Year

Fatbat commented on Franz's blog entry in Greg Fransen

Big mike should be signed because that’s exactly what he does. One other veteran starter would be nice also but I don’t see that happening. I think the team is all in on getting the young talent to the majors this year.

My bet is that he and Donaldson split the DH role this year and each fill in at 1st and 3rd with Kiriloff and Miranda platooning at 1st and 3rd…. Lots of movable pieces in this young team.

Jim Pohlads net worth as around $4B. You guys are discussing $50M that might be invested short term. Lol ? He wants to win from within….

Throw him 1000 sliders every week this winter. He will figure it out.

Royce could be an all star in two years. Let the kid play and develop that raw talent!!!
  11. Fatbat
I bet we sign 2 more has been pitchers and let the kids play between mpls/st. Paul. We will struggle to win 85-90 games if buxton plays 130+
  12. Fatbat
Huge bargain if he stays healthy and wins a couple MVP’s.
  13. Fatbat
I’d leave coloumbe non tendered. Give his spot to any young pitcher with much more upside.

Relax and enjoy the show. Twins will be going deep in the playoffs. At some point we will have all the coggs on the wheel turning out win after win. It's still mid April.

Mike8791 said everything that needs to be said.

Why can't Simmons and Buxton stay on fire most of the season? They are matured leaders and amount the most talented players in MLB. How about Co-MVPs?! A division title and WS Champs in 2021

Set up men that can pitch 2 innings consistently are rare. Baldelli was experimenting with a big lead. I bet duffy will be our closer come Sept.

When Sano heats up, the ball will be scared to cross the plate. We are winning without his bat now, we will be crushing the Yankees when Sano rakes in October. Have some patience twins fans!!!

Sure seems like Baddoo has some magic in him. Great kid and I hope he has a great career!!! I think the rule 5 draft worked well for him and baseball as a sport!
  20. Fatbat
I agree with D.C. Twins, La Torga need to learn how to lay off the garbage pitches. He is a great depth player! I'd like to see him pinch hit more than start at 3rd base!
  21. Fatbat
Twins should extend/sign him for 2022 at 15M and option for 2023 at 10M. He needs to win a ws ring and we have that window wide open with him around and the developing young guys. He isn't going to slow down anytime soon.

Pickles help with dehydration. Apparently donaldson will be out another week. Buy stock in gedney
  24. Fatbat
The way game #1 went, I wouldn't be surprised to see everyone from the 40 man play in a twins uniform this season. Ugh. Baddoo will likely be mashing in Detroilet for years to come.

Wander Javier is in fort myers, Balazovic is in wichita with celestino but that could all change by may 1st.
