  1. Matt Barr is VERY exciting. What he showed at the draft combine was electric. It seems like the Twins are drafting more for stuff this year compared to in the past when it FELT like they were drafting more for pitchability and would add stuff later. It'll be fun to see these arms grow over the coming years.
  2. Isn't Gage Wood the exact definition of a pitcher that is injury prone? Glad they got Quick. He looks to have really good stuff.
  3. I’d be open to it if it is truly an overpay. Not naming players involved, but if you think they would accept equal value on the baseballtradevalues site you are kidding yourselves.
  4. Larnach and one of the relievers actually make a lot of sense. If they are truly selling and want a big haul, maybe they also look at one of their starting pitchers too?
  5. Seeing Bremner next to the Twins certainly would be exciting. Would LOVE to see what their pitching development plan could do with a 1st round caliber talent. I'm not sold on Taylor, but I do believe in their drafting ability. If that's who they take at 36, I trust they have a good plan for him. Thanks!
  6. I mean, I'm all for making smart deals, and I agree player changes should be made.
  7. This horse has been dead for 15 years. But still, should we continue to hit it?
  8. I guess I see as close to zero chance that Wallner is traded as just about anyone in the organization. I'd be open to being wrong, but being a MN native and able to carry enormous ops's for long stretches of time, I don't see him getting moved.
  9. I did read he was taking grounders at 2nd a week or so ago, but wasn't yet throwing or even hitting. Not certain if that's changed. Hopefully getting closer to a rehab assignment at some point, maybe back soon after all star break if everything goes ok?
  10. Nothing on Toyotathon either. But I do think it was a good article:

  13. Came here because I am an optimist by choice. But getting Keaschall back SHOULD help the offense right? Also unrelated; Walker Jenkins is finally back to AA Wichita. Not saying that for this season necessarily, but that is another point to add on the optimism side. Generally though, they have to have a good rest of June. At least like you said, tread water. IF that is the case, then that's a good thing. I hope they can.
  14. Agreed on this. It's really hard to believe that any manager would prefer their ace get injured so they can give a shot to a long-man instead.
  15. https://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2025/06/jerry-reinsdorf-justin-ishbia-reach-agreement-for-ishbia-to-obtain-future-majority-stake-in-white-sox.html The dream we used to have of the Ishbia's buying the Twins is OFFICIALLY officially dead. Sounds like this process will be over the course of the next 5-8 years or so too.
  16. Even with Bregman’s contract uncertainty? That’s hard to deal with.
  17. It'll be good to get Keaschall back before the deadline too. That arguably will fill one of the spots lists assuming health otherwise. I think someone who can play 1b/3b/dh or some combo of two of those should be easy enough to acquire otherwise.
  18. I can't at all say I know much about him as a player. But the Twins picking 16th but having the 12th most money means they COULD float someone down like him.
  19. Would they need to? Pablo's next start would be Tuesday, and there is an off day Monday. Festa COULD go his regular turn today and still be on 6 days rest for Tuesday. SWR went yesterday, so he'd even be on a week's long rest.
  20. Apparently he would have started yesterday (Monday 6/2) but the games got rained out. He's playing for the FCL Twins today, and so far he is 0-1 with 2 walks and a run scored. In the 1st he reached base on an error but then was thrown out attempting to steal 2nd base. To me that's a good sign that his ankle feels ok if he is trying that. Mostly it's just really great to see his name in the box score again.
