  1. Lopez having SOs taken away from him, having some pitches not going his way, which piled up his pitch count, Not having Lewis or Buxton in the line-up, having RH hitters that shouldn't be facing RHPs, facing RHPs. Lopez didn't complained or let it effect him on the mound still he took accountability of the outcome of his pitching. What a breathe of fresh air! Wish FO took note.
  2. They should have had Vazquez leading-off
  3. NYY has LAD coming to town, They counter & rest Soto & Judge
  4. MIA will eventually trade all their veteran SPs that's including Alcantra. Those that they don't trade at the deadline will trade next season maybe not Perez.
  5. Dang! NO Lewis or Buxton, Come on Twins give a s***.
  6. Yes, Pablo shut them down! Line-up whoever you are, pulloff a win.
  7. Will CLE add at the deadline? probably nothing significant. Twins? Hopefully much better
  8. I don't see Alonzo ever happening. Neither Kepler, because Twins value him much more than anyone else in the league. If no one wanted to give the Twins anything for him when he was worth something what makes you think they will now? Even if they are desperate. No teams will want any of our mistakes. Some competitive team that has a hole at catching might consider Vazquez but doing so we will create a larger hole for ourselves. When Vazquez came he offered us an upgrade in defense & all that is involved with that. More so offered Jeffers a solid base to pull himself out of the ashes. If we trade Vazquez we will have to pay down his salary & will lose the base for Jeffers to continue his ascent. We will have to find a solid replacement that'll most likely not as good defensively, maybe better offensively & expensive.
  9. Great job Seth! Saints look super. What impressed me most about Julien wasn't his HR but his 0- Ks, keep up the good work. Wallner is progressing well in his Ks only having 1. Their clone Severino, since they also have the book on him, isn't doing very well & Keirsey (who didn't play last night) is more deserving of the 40-man spot. Martin is being Martin & should be up in the show. Especially with both Julien & Lee in AAA, they should have Julien play 1B Lead-off hitter Jay Harry (CR) had a good night but the Loons cleaned up on CR. Happy to see Loons lead-off hitter (former GG Twins prospect) Noah Miller having a good night with his bat, sorry!
  10. Of the top 3 prospects, Lee is closest to the show. It's all a proccess & now we are waiting for him to knock down the door. With all the MLB ready talent down in AAA, it's long overdue to try to undo as many of the costly mistakes done this offseason as possible.
  11. Will be high scoring game. Hope the Twins are up for that.
  12. Okert was fine in the beginning with MIA. But down the stretch he was undependable. MIA was more than happy to trade him off. He has to show that he can change & work his fastball
  13. That's the thing nobody can argue balls & strikes. Then throw out the review replay have strictly the human error. If you consent to that then you should have nothing to complain about, Angel Hernandez should not be demonized because that's just part of the game. Fairness should be held to the highest level. That doesn't sterilize the game, IMO overanalyzing does. Treating players only as stats & numbers.
  14. Yes, Castro is doing a fine job in LF. Martin started out well but like most rookies that's not Lewis their start end up slow but comes roaring back when recalled. Keirsey needs to be put on the 40 man be called up to get his feet wet he has potential & these guys are good subs for CF. Then we have Wallner who'll return a better hitter than when he left, Larnach after his toe heals and Kiriloff is used too much in the OF, just returning from shoulder & wrist problems. IMO that could be his hitting problem even though there's no obvious xrays manifestations. I'd want him to play more at 1B, IMO hitting would become better. Emma needs a call up just so he'd know what work on his hitting to adjust to MLB. So I think we are sitting just fine at LF & our main need is a postseason SP.
  15. No, I'd rather stick with Julien, Miranda & Kiriloff & see how far they can take us. We kind of blew our wad for DeSclavani, Topa, Margot & Santana that was very bad management so we can't afford the $ & prospects for Alonzo even if he's worth it, which IMO he isn't. For the big game, I still have faith in Lopez to come through but not so much Ryan, Ober or Paddack. We need another SP who we can produce into another Lopez to start a postseason game. I'd make a trade for more reasonable Luzardo or Cabrera for more years who can really help us.
  16. Great to have Lewis back! They pitched away from him until they made a mistake & he hit a HR. Hope the rest of the lineup wakes up soon. Didn't understand why they had Miranda playing 1B against a RHP since we had Santana. Nevertheless, the result might have been the same & it was nice seeing him playing there. If Santana can't hit RHPs why have him?
