  1. Really good haul for a guy that even the Giants know isn't what he's been this year. It has been nice to see Nunez revitalize his career, hopefully he can be a steady regular.
  2. He will never, ever, ever, ever have sustained success if he doesn't learn to walk a little bit. There is no way I would bring him up right now. He hasn't learned anything.
  3. I'm so horrified to think that the Torii Hunter thing might actually happen.
  4. Why do you think Buxton needs motivation? Do you really think it's his fault he's been hurt so much?
  5. Christ. Bonnes, I'm almost offended that you think it's so crazy to complain about this move. I would bet a lot of money that Buxton would provide more value than Hunter over the rest of the season, based on defense alone. Buxton in CF and pushing Hicks to RF would make an elite defensive outfield. That's looking at the short term impact, which I don't even think is the point. Competing at this point is a pipe dream. The Twins should be trying to figure out if Buxton is ready to run with the job on Opening Day 2016. If Hunter can't accept a very limited role at this point. he's not the leader everyone says he is. (And I have a huge feeling he would balk. Which would be hilarious.)
  6. You're right, Seth, none of us are experts. Y'all may as well just shut down Twins Daily. Expressing opinions is pointless.
  7. I can understand why people are upset. I would have been with any other inside hire. However, with the amount effusive praise I've read about Molitor, I think he's going to be a good manager. He's a quiet, smart leader, he's open to new ideas and he's a lot different than Gardy. Now I just pray they bring in a great pitching coach.
  8. When are people going to get it through their heads that a 4.39 ERA is no longer "solid" in this era of baseball? It's just bad. But back to the point of the article, I do think he could make a good reliever. I hope the Twins have that in mind.
  9. I'm just glad they're not bringing Hicks up again. I hope they bring him up to AAA and let him prove himself there.
  10. That's a bummer. He's my favorite prospect to follow, I hope he gets well soon.
  11. Was the analyst seriously saying that Buxton could make it to the majors this year? Bizarre.
