  1. About the only thing Rocco can do is fill out a line up card...even that talent is questionable. TK said the hardest part of managing is the bullpen, it's a balance between use and over use. And that's were Rocco failures begin and end.
  2. If the Twins want to fix their attendance problem, they’ll have to do more than just offer discount nights—they’ll need to rebuild trust and energy around the team. And with the club being up for sale, that uncertainty could be making fans even more hesitant to reinvest emotionally or financially.
  3. Good one...or how about... " Buck 10 " That’s generally his batting average... .110 Heck...Bucks hitting way above that at .171
  4. Q: What does going to a Twins game and watching a movie for the second time have in common? A: You know how it ends even before it begins.
  5. Here's why the Pohlads will NEVER get another nickel out of me. I sent a kid to a Twins vs Nationals game in 2019... Gave them enough money for a ticket and a meal. Due to a new policy introduced mid- season my kid was forced to check in a small backpack for $10. She wasn't allowed to bring a small backpack into the stadium. Her meal money went into the Pohlads pockets. Pohlads won the battle, but the lost the war. I've gone from attending 10-12 games a year to ZERO.
  6. Been saying it for years...the Twins are the best triple A team in the majors.
  7. He just wiffed for the 3rd time tonight...3 signs he's not ready Then he pulls off The Golden Sombrero.
  8. "Correa and Buxton have stunk so far." Good thing we aren't over paying these guys to produce or anything stupid like that!
  9. I wonder what words TK would have for Lewis? Tom Kelly would bench a .300 hitter for not running out a ground ball. Forget it, Lewis can't even run, and before you run you have to hit.
  10. Said this on another post... It time for a new nickname. I nominate: Royce " Week to Weak" Lewis
  11. Twins once had a reliever named: Grant Balfour...now...Scott Blewett Whose is next? Manny Walker ?
  12. It really is—the modern bullpen carousel is like playing Russian roulette with five loaded chambers. You might survive an inning or two, but eventually someone’s giving up a moonshot. Yesterday it was Jax turn...today or tomorrow...pick your poison. Rocco burned through seven relievers yesterday. That’s not strategy—that’s panic. And with each call to the ‘pen, the odds of someone blowing it increase.
  13. 2024 Twins finish 12-27...if that pace continues. 2025 team will finish 50-112. What's more probable? The collapse continues or they rebound and go 92-70?
  14. 1969 Twins started 0-4, then won their next 7 games...going on to win the division pennant. That team had Killebrew, Oliva, Carew, Tovar. Perry, Boswell, Kaat at the top of the rotation. Also had Billy Martin at the helm. 2025 Twins are closer to the 1988 Baltimore Orioles...who started the season 0-21
  15. I've watched 3% of this pathetic team games so far....basically one inning. Normally watch 50+% of the games. Seems like it's a trend for many here. I wonder if they will even draw 30k for the home opener vs Houston.
  16. The Dodgers have become the embodiment of everything wrong with MLB, and the league just lets it happen. Hard to stay invested when the outcome feels predetermined.
  17. I think they beat KC the last 2 openers They beat kc 2-0 last year....but they have gone 4-12 in the last 16 seasons.
  18. I think it's safe to say your material is safe from being 'pleasured' by a comedy club.
  19. I'd rather see this new stat : "CPW" – Cost Per Win This tells us exactly how much a team is paying per unit of actual on-field value. The higher the CPW, the worse the contract. For example: A guy making $30 million with a WAR of 0.5? Yikes—$60 million per win. A player on a $5 million deal with a WAR of 5? Now we’re talking—$1 million per win. Or how about "DFA%" – Dollars Flushed Away Percentage.
  20. Okay...this guy needs a new nickname... I nominate: Royce "Week to Weak" Lewis.
  21. Baseball players sure get injured enough for a non-contact sport. Imagine if these guys played in the NHL... they'd be on the injured list before the end of the first period !
  22. He's like a "dock" because he's on the team, but rarely in the action. In 2025...he'll probably end up sitting on the "dock" watching another seadon go by.
  23. Don't leave out Dyson and Paddock... I heard Falvey only shops at Goodwill... he’s great at finding damaged goods!
  24. The MLBPA is so strong that if it arm-wrestled the owners, they’d not only win but also negotiate a no-trade clause, a signing bonus, and a player option for a rematch.
