    I've watched 3% of this pathetic team games so far....basically one inning. Normally watch 50+% of the games. Seems like it's a trend for many here. I wonder if they will even draw 30k for the home opener vs Houston.

    The Dodgers have become the embodiment of everything wrong with MLB, and the league just lets it happen. Hard to stay invested when the outcome feels predetermined.

    I'd rather see this new stat : "CPW" – Cost Per Win This tells us exactly how much a team is paying per unit of actual on-field value. The higher the CPW, the worse the contract. For example: A guy making $30 million with a WAR of 0.5? Yikes—$60 million per win. A player on a $5 million deal with a WAR of 5? Now we’re talking—$1 million per win. Or how about "DFA%" – Dollars Flushed Away Percentage.

    Baseball players sure get injured enough for a non-contact sport. Imagine if these guys played in the NHL... they'd be on the injured list before the end of the first period !

    He's like a "dock" because he's on the team, but rarely in the action. In 2025...he'll probably end up sitting on the "dock" watching another seadon go by.

    Instead of making bold moves to contend, this front office settles for mediocrity. Case in point: the latest signing—just another uninspiring addition to a roster that feels destined for irrelevance. The Twins seem content with doing just enough to stay afloat.

    In 2022 the Twins trade for a 26 year old pitcher named Chris Paddack, ...the next two years he pitches at total of 27.1 innings for the Twins. No typo there......27.1 innings whopping innings. Now...in 2025 just when it looks like he may be able to finally pitch an entire year. He is still only 29 and actually pitched 88 innings last year......NOW WE TRADE HIM AWAY? Go ahead and deal him. Wouldn't surprise me to see him in a Padres uniform pitching into the post season.

    MLB got what they wanted. WS in two large markets, but what a dud. I barely watched. I was hoping to see CLE vs SD. Was glad to see LA thump NYY.

    Twins can be the Diamondbacks! ......a team that has a great manager and has removed a lot of it debt.

    True, there are no guarantees news owners will spend more. The only guarantee we have is that the Pohlad's are never going to spend any more than they have to on this team. I hope they find their buyer.

    I can agree with that to some degree, it's just that in the best of satire, there is always an element of truth in it too....that's good satire. But to tell you the absolute truth....I wish it were true.

    Not really seeing the humor in this. Satire is designed to mock. Anyone but Joe Mauer deserve this. Go after the other Joe, Rocco, or Falvey. Then you'd have me.
