Rosario flied out to left. Kepler hit for Buxton. Kepler popped out to third. MN 1 - DET 2 How the inning could have went without that ridiculous lineup: Polanco struck out swinging. Sanó doubled to deep center. Castro singled to deep right, Sanó scored. D Santana pinch runs for Castro Mauer singled to left, D Santana to third Rosario flied out to left. D Santana tags and scores from 3rd Kepler hit for Buxton. Kepler popped out to third. MN 2 - Det 2

    I agree that it's not perfect, but were moving the SLG not the OBP. Granted a double has more run-scoring potential than a single and a SB, however, at the same time, a single and a CS has significantly more run-scoring potential than a pop-out. I'd be interested to know how WAR treats SB (and CS). Just trying to represent a base-stealer's contributions better than a standard triple slash.
