    Log jams? Lets review our infield just a bit: Lewis, recent and career history of injuries. Correa, recent and career history of injuries. Polanco, recent and career history of injuries. Miranda, recent and career history of injuries. Kiriloff, recent and career history of injuries. Gordon, recent and career history of injuries. That leaves Julien, Farmer and Castro who have more of a history of being healthy. Should we be trading anybody? Absolutely, if it makes us a better team moving forward. Not however to breakup imaginary logjams.

    We signed Farmer through next season, 2025 is option. That really surprises me tbh.

    I'm so sorry to hear that. Glad you made it through though. But no you haven't missed much. I'm thinking the same thing must have happened to Falvine since they have done next to nothing this offseason.

    DeSclafani, NO. I think Ryu would be a solid depth pickup and shouldn't cost close to 12mil. This team is in cost cutting mode and we shouldn't expect any signing of significance. Low level for depth.

    On an extension Burnes isn't signing for anything less than 35mil a year would be my best guestimate. Burnes will not be a longterm Twin, he wants top dollar. On a one year rental I don't want to pay the price. We need all of the prospects we can muster playing at minimum wage then if we are going to compete. As time passes expect the Twins to be modeled after the A's of the 2,000's and the Rays and the Guardians. Teams that were/are competitive but never had/have enough bullets to win the WS. Edit: Sad that you can't even refer to the Guardians as the old *nd*ans anymore on here. Lets just erase history.

    Not saying anything against Mauer. He was a great player. But a pure catcher give me Molina.

    Stats can be a lot of fun I agree. But with baseball there is just the little things that go beyond stats. Going beyond just stats, I'll take Molina as my Catcher. Anyday and pretty much over anyone aside from Johnny Bench.

    Needing 45-50 starts out of the 6-10 is commonplace. Shouldn't be expecting 162 starts out of 1-5. As for who those 6-10 presently are? Uhhm.........

    Would you trade Raya and Lee for Cease? I think I would. Problem is the Sox are asking for much more in their shopping of him. I do agree, Pohlad's in cost cutting mode right now. They are happy to win the Central,and even that may be a struggle if we don't make an add or two to this current team.

    Honestly if I'm giving up a huge haul for an SP I want someone better than Cease. Has he been good? Yes. Does he have the potential? Yes. But the reality is his career has been more average than really good. I agree with Bigfork in that we sign some depth pieces and hope that they come through.

    Larnach has shown signs of being a legitimate MLer. Certainly won't give up on him yet. He offers good depth. Nothing saying Martin, Rodriguez, Jenkins will be any better. 2024 will be a big year for him as well as Kiriloff imo. They both need to prove themselves or we might need to think of trading or moving on.

    I haven't seen it posted anywhere else on here, and my appologies for here mike, and I don't know how to start my own thread or where. But I saw where former Twins Manager Billy Gardner passed away. I always liked Billy.

    I would also add, some of us look for cheaper seats where there are not as many people around b/c that's how we want to enjoy the game best. I'm really surprised at how many Pohlad defenders are out there

    Cutting on a team that won it's division and not attempting to strengthen it is just plain ridiculous.

    Max Kranick has been DFA'd today by Pit. I would like to see the Twins pickup Max. That way we would be loaded to the Max and if and when we traded Max we would still have Max.

    Looks like he referred to Trevor Larnach, not Plouffe. Larnach has left a lot to desire upto this point.

    I don't know, Max is likely a throw in to dump salary if a trade does happen. I believe he is more valuable to us than others based on the fact that he is still here. So if Max were dumped in a trade and we sign Hoskins I don't see that tradeoff making us better. To the contrary. I say forget about Hoskins and keep Max. These others aren't happening. Twins wanting to cut payroll not increase it.

    I don't mind any of the fliers they have taken this off season. They do no harm. But on the other hand it would be nice to see a move that moves the needle back towards the Full mark. Gray, Maeda, Mahle, Taylor, Solano all gone. Alexy, Jensen, Staumont all that has been brought in. Right now nobody can say we are a better team, we are noticibely worse.

    Spot on with the write up on ERod. He is just a bit underrated imo, I would have him at #6. Soon to be Super Star.
