  1. I would think the money made from the play-offs would offset the Bally's nonsense. They are now getting TV money.
  2. I agree, Kepler was awful and never got a RIP like this. Lot's of heat on the pitchers but they rarely get run support.
  3. Half of the line-up should be sent down or on the bench! Is there really no one in AAA close to ready? If that is the case it is going to be a bad few seasons.
  4. Looking at yesterday's box score makes me think this team will will be at the bottom or close to this season. Margot over Kiriloff? Buxton needs to contribute way more About half of the line-up (Farmer, Castro, Santana, Vasquez and Wallner) do NOT belong in the MLB. Yikes!
  5. Maybe the Pohlads should take a lesson from the Timberwolves Taylor. Invest in the team and attendance will grow. I heard the T-Wolves sold out every GAME. Twins are 24th in the league. IMO if they continue losing it will get worse and the Pohlads will spend even less
  6. LOL. They can’t afford most of the lineup. It will be a long season if they don’t wake up soon
  7. Could he be injured? Maybe using him sparingly to avoid an injury?
  8. Can’t afford having Buxton on the bench with Correa and Lewis out. How long will Correa be out?
  9. What kind of team does not have a closer and a good back up closer.
  10. So they pulled him as a pinch hitter for Kiriloff? What if they go extra innings?
  11. If you look at the positional adjustments for Wins Above Replacement , it looks like left and right field are equally valuable, and the second-easiest positions to play on the field. Generally, that seems about right — first base is where you put your slugger, and the corner-outfield spots is where you put your other sluggers.
  12. Since it is over, they should leave Varland in.
  13. The RISP won’t be so dreadful tonight. 5 innings and 1 hit? I was a negative Nellie during Spring Training but kept hearing that ST doesn’t mean anything. I don’t think many ST games were played with the full team.
  14. Is this a throwaway game?
  15. Anyone else surprised that Correa does not have a home run yet?
  16. Six in the lineup under .200 average? Is this the best they have. How much longer does Kepler stay in the lineup, one hit ONE hit so far this season!!
  17. Cleveland only has 2 hitters with a BA under 250. Twins have 6 and 5 of those under 200. Kepler .067? Almost and automatic out at the top of the lineup. He has been in the MLB way to long to be putting up those numbers. Reminds me of Dozier. Good guy that they want to play,.
  18. Our killer line-up are batting this inning: Kirloff, Buxton, Kepler and Correa? Maybe they can hit and score?
  19. Isn't that is what Spring Training is for? If I remember right our "core" players didn't really play together (maybe one or two games)
  20. The $33 m man is the king of walks so far.
  21. I don't think so: Pitches-strikes:Paddack 82-47;
  22. Down to .091 now! I could be too old but RF was a position that would be a good or great hitter with maybe subpar defense?
