Mitchell took some ugly swings but fought back to get sac fly.

Could have been ball 4 pitch was up around the letters, just missed clearing the bases though.

Doizer with another real solid double.

The boxscore shows him currently with an .833 batting average. Is this just a hot streak, or can he keep this up?

I'll settle for .340 and above. :)

I guess I could deal with that... if I had to.

Except for Swarzak's outing, it seems like most of the Twins pitchers have come into ST ready to go.

Question is whether they can keep improving.

Well, geez, you step out of the room for a minute and come back and its 6-0 for the good guys.

Please try to remember this scenario in the regular season when we need a rally in the 9th.

By opinion after watching a split squad version of this team for 4 and a half inning. Theres a chance it could take 5 or 6 games, but we will win the World Series.

Gibson gets credit for giving up a hit on a pop fly lost in the sun follows it up by a double play and a strikeout. Great inning.

It really sounds like that should have been an error on Escobar, but it sounds like he lost it in the sun. No harm really, except Gibson may have one more hit than he deserves in ST.

Yeah it hit glove, but if they give a hit when the fielder never sees it hard to give an error when the fielder finds it and gives as good of an effort as he could at that point. I don't understand for the pitchers sake why thats not considered a team error though.

I don't think you can safely extrapolate to 5 or 6 games, simply from 4.5 innings. Baseball isn't played on paper.

Mitchell hits one out after his earlier sac fly. Fun to see someone take advantage of opportunities.

But it sure is a lot more fun watching the Twins so far in ST than the last few seasons have been.

I'll take it for as long as I can get it!

True, but in the case of split squad games half of them are being played inside of boxscores on the internet which will probably be printed on paper in the morning.
