2. Think about Kazmir... Oh Let the Sun beat down upon my face... Stars fill my Dreams. Hard not to think about Kazmir without thinking about Kashmir. Robert Plant was inspired to write the lyrics to Kashmir while driving through the Northern Africa desert. That does explain the Desert setting of the song but it does not explain why they titled the Song Kashmir which is miles away and nothing like Northern Africa. As for the Pitcher Kazmir... I Got Nothing... I hope we string some hits together off of him.

 

3. Think about Colabello... He's back in the lineup... Awesome... I almost forgot he was on the 25 man. When we last saw Colabello... He was heating up and then he got sent down.

 

4. Think about Morneau... Not in the lineup... No Serious Trade Talks have been reported... If any action is coming... It probably won't be until Wednesday or Thursday.

 

5. Think about Doctors... A friend of mine just set up his own private practice. I told him that this private practice stuff is a bunch of bull crap. If someone walks through your door in need of doctoring... It's game on. I don't think it's time for practice... Private or Public or whatever.

Would Michael Cuddyer have scored from third on Wilkin's flyball to right? Because, that's who we "traded" to get Willingham. I liked the deal at the time. Now, not so much. But, in my defense, I thought the money saved would be applied to something.

I've been saying for a while that Colabello should get some at-bats because of the way he mashed at Rochester. However, his big league plate appearances mostly have screamed "AAAA". If he doesn't hit in 200 PAs or so, let him go. Beyond that, I've been griping every time I see Clete, Wilkin, Bernier etc. up that they have to find better than that.

So...you're just ignoring Willingham's last season? I get that he has been below average offensively and has always been terrible defensively, but come on.

Willie Wilson wouldn't have scored on that fly to right. Kipnis could have caught that ball facing the infield.

Yes! It's easier to make those decisions when someone else makes those decisions! But I got sidetracked. Am now sorting through all my screws and nails and wall hangers as I have some things to hang.

No, last season was worth more than the $7M he was paid. But we got him for $21M, and was always an injury risk (which I expect is why you don't send him on a one-out flyball), so I am not confident that the full 21 was well spent.

Cuddy's my all-time favorite player. However, his OPS+ in Colorado is less than the Hammer. I would trade Cuddyer for Willingham in a second, but Cuddy makes $3.5M more than Willingham.
