They've made him the face of the team and have made a lot off him via jersey sales, etc,

Face of the Franchise doesn't even have 1000 career hits.

I would imagine that Buxton has known all this for several years AND he has chosen to remain a Twin until he retires.

He's got young kids so I'm choosing to think he doesn't want to move and uproot the kids from friends and school.  Moving to a new town as a young kid is not ideal.

Yes, precisely.  What else do we go with other than what is?  Don't get indignant, I am trying to help you..🤑

He OBVIOUSLY isn't getting hip replacement surgery.  It is for a hip impingement.  Have you not read anything?

Here is another.

Take a breath.  Pretty sure you know as well as I do that there is a lot of really bad AI crap out there in the media.  I was looking for a real source.  Thank you for providing one.

To quote the Geico Caveman circa about 2007:

"Maybe you need to do a little more research" 😀

It takes seconds.  I literally did a Google search on "Buxton hip surgery" and it produced those two articles. I understand the concerns about AI but we are talking about a BASEBALL PLAYER here.   I do not think your life will be adversely affected using an AI search for something like that.

I don't know whether the Twins or Buxton have said anything definitive, but TD published an article just a little while back, authored by someone with medical background, that I feel (maybe unwisely) willing to take as nearly gospel.  Don't be put off by the tongue-in-cheek title, it's not Satire.  Oh, and that article takes a deep-dive into what an impingement is because that is exactly the word used on Buxton's official page at mlb.com - so that at least is not an outsider's guess.

Audra reported last night that Buxton told her that the doctors have said he should be ready for spring training.

Season averages for his 12 year career - G 82.5, AB 289, R 49, H 72, 2B 16, 3B 3, HR 16, RBI 40

Hardly superstar status. Or even star status.

You can IL him and not play him when he's clearly hurt.

Mike Sixel in Oregon knows Buxton's injury situation better than the best medical professionals available on earth.

Bold claim

You think he was healthy when he came back? You don't think they wait to IL him for two or three games, and play a man short? We are watching different actions.
