Things to think about

1. Think about Odds... The Incredible King Felix took on the struggling Scott Diamond and the Twins win in extras after the struggling Trevor Plouffe tied the game in the 9th with a pinch hit followed by a home run by the struggling Chris Colabello. Yesterday truly doesn't matter and that was true yesterday and it's true today as well.

2. Think about Deduno... The guy continues to impress while some still wait for regression. All I know... Deduno looks more like a talented pitcher than any arm we've had start a game in 3 years.

3. Think about the Trade deadline... That clock is ticking... isn't it.

4. Think about Colabello and Plouffe switching spots in the lineup. Plouffe has been off a tish and Colabello hit his first homer. That and... Willingham is hurt while Arcia and Parmelee are in AAA.

5. Think about the Congress... Pro is the opposite of Con... It stands to reason that Progress would be the opposite of Congress.

Colabello bats two spots ahead of Plouffe. Quite the statement to the hot corner.

I agree... When the lineup starts shifting... You better watch where you are standing.

I won't be watching this one, and sadly only watched 12 innings last night. Deduno is so fun to watch, guess I'll find out how fun it is to listen to.

Is this game not televised? On fs north for me it says Ultimate Dodgeball Championships at 3...

Better lineup today from the plate. Still uninspiring. Though I must point out that last night we beat a great pitcher with the worst batting order I have seen in 30 years. That's why they play the games, I guess. Still, the Twins have a history of making average starting pitchers look like Cy Young winners.

It is not Televised... Fox controls the Baseball World on Saturday and Seattle/Minnesota is not on their schedule.

I don't like missing Deduno and I'm not watching Fox for a week in retaliation.

They said yesterday that the game won't be on any channel anywhere. Saturday daytime games are usually blacked out except on Fox, but Dick said no television whatsoever...

That's a complete joke. The ultimate dodgeball championships? Really?

And on your point number 5, I think congress means something like "walk together"

No one will. Not televised.

Thankfully this particular blackout ridiculousness ends next season with the new national television deals.

I have no problem with Harang walking 66.6 Percent of all batters he faces.

As is often the case when a player gets off to an incredible start, he proved unable to maintain the pace.

I can't watch the game... So I'm gonna assume that Deduno made a great recovery and play on that comebacker.

So... with that Assumption... "NICE PLAY DEDUNO". WOO HOO!!!

Did you see that Fastball... Franklin was fooled by it... Diving in on his hands like that...

Wow... DEDUNO!!!

Can't any of you cheapskates pony up for MLB.TV?

The things I like best is the Mariners broadcasters are that they are informed and fair in there reporting,,,and no DicknBert Homer headache....

For people in Minnesota, all the Twins games are blacked out on MLB.tv for the live broadcasts. Could watch them after the fact, but if you're in a team's market area, you cannot watch their games live on MLB.tv

I have no excuses for many things. However... I'm proud to say that Grand Forks is Twins Territory!!!

I'm glad you brought that up. I have worked on projects throughout ND, a nicer and more industrious citizenry I have yet to meet.

I have a question I have always been meaning to ask you: Given your state's new found Oil-based prosperity and the muscle-flexing that comes with that boom wealth, what are the chances that the Twins could partner with the State of ND, Fargo and Grand Forks, purchase a sickly franchise like the Las Vegas 51's and move it to your state? Much closer to the mother-franchise and a natural fan-fit. Put a new stadium on the Interstate between your towns, and you could call them the Fargo-Grand Forks 29's. Or resurrect the Fighting Sioux nickname...

The demographics for the 2 metro areas combined is close to 275,000, so it seems within the realm of financial possibility.

I'm interested in hearing your thoughts.

As an in-market fan, that wouldn't do me much good. :P
