The last reason for keeping Jenkins down (nowhere to play him) is now gone. Jenkins has gotten hot at the right time and unfortunately for Larnach the team has run out of time to wait for him to turn it around. If he played defense like Buxton, perhaps they could wait, but now he’s a liability on both sides.

Larnach has always done this.  He will show signs of being a strong hitter for stretches, then is just not good for long stretches.  When good, he shows the what if he can just carry this all season, then the slump comes in. 

He should be a non-tender in the off-season as we have too many guys that need to play for much cheaper.  He may not even make it the rest of this season if E-Rod and or Jenkins comes up and hit strong.
