CairoCrown Provisional Member Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 I'll hang up and have my answer at a later date.
glunn Community Moderator Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Weaver against Pelfrey tomorrow. I wonder what the Vegas odds will be on that one. We should send ChiTown back to get some money down on the Angels.
glunn Community Moderator Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 I hope that Hicks saw Morneau's slide there. A veteran move!

Willihammer Provisional Member Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 I'm not complaining, but that's two nights in a row - dead to rights edit: ah, maybe that was a closer play than I thought
CairoCrown Provisional Member Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Vavra... Is out of his mind!!!Didn't he read the article on Twins Daily?
glunn Community Moderator Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 I'm not complaining, but that's two nights in a row - dead to rights edit: ah, maybe that was a closer play than I thought The consensus of the Angels fans around me last night was that Hicks would have had a shot if he had slid instead of just slowing down and getting tagged. We were far away, but our angle was good, and it seemed to me that if he had come in a full speed and slid, he might have been able to duck under the tag.
drunksam Verified Member Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Have I become so old that the prospects of a Twins win is better then the prospects of birthday sex? At least I don't look weird posting this from my phone. My f#%£¥* phone!
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Morneau slide > Hicks "slide">Jeff Gray Someone had to.

Guest USAFChief Guests Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Hey Glorm, how do Angels fans treat fans of visiting teams?Pretty much like any fans...cold compresses, elevate the legs, ensure breathing. Y'know, standard stuff.

snepp Verified Member Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Yeah, I guess that was a Vance Worley meatball right there. You shouldn't be so hard on yourself. Start with Scott Diamond and work your way up.
glunn Community Moderator Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Hey Glorm, how do Angels fans treat fans of visiting teams? I have rarely had a problem. Usually I make friends with the fans on both sides of me and we talk baseball during the game. Last night I ended up hugging the woman to our left, shaking hands with the man to our right, and consoling both of them for the Angels' loss. I have had some comments in the past, but nothing like Fenway.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 24, 2013 Author Posted July 24, 2013 Quite the play by Conger
glunn Community Moderator Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Whoa whoa hang on. You were at the game last night? Yes I was, until the very last Twin exited the dugout.
