Two years, $28mm plus an option year for $15mm.  He’s been a great part of this team and I would love to see him stay as a part of it.  As others have said, would also help them make a run this year.

Also, Tom Pohlad has been interacting with reporters a lot this year. They should be asking him every chance they get about extending Jeffers and Ryan.

Respectfully why would Jeffers sign that contract?  He’s 29 somebody is going to give him a 5 year in the neighborhood of $75 million.

Ok, so the Twins should offer him a 4/50 extension.  My point is the Twins should keep this guy.  He’s excellent and can be a middle of the order part of the next winning team, possibly even later this year.

That might even be light. Realmuto got $115M for 5 years at age 30, and while he's better than Jeffers, there's a lot of headroom between those figures for Jeffers's agent to exploit if he's the best available catcher this off-season.

Plus inflation of contracts..... I'll be shocked if he's healthy and doesn't get over 100 million.
