Nice try but I don't think you can jinx the other pitcher.

 

I think this one is jinx free... He has no hit stuff and an opponent with nothing to play for.

 

If it gets broken up... It will be someone fighting for a spot on the roster.

She doesn't remember... Her last memory was Ribeye... French Martini... The memories are gone after that.

 

Elbows on the table friend is gonna to explain to her later today that She was doing handstands in her chair at the restaurant.

The Hindenberg? Unfortunate, but we really need to see around 1000 of these Atlantic crossings before we know how these things will work out.

I'm not worried. Mauer will break it up in the 9th.

 

Its Herrmann in the 7th or an infield single in the 9th. Or... A No-No.

The 7th may be his last time up.

 

I believe Bark forsees a series of walks and errors enabling Mauer to have a PA in the 9th.

Both my Sons are in the living room with me... Masterson just blows Mauer away with a 97MPH fastball...

 

I turn to my 15 year old son and say... 97 MPH... Do you know how fast that is?

 

My 15 Year old son says "I don't know"

My 19 year old son is in College... He says "umm... The answer would be 97 MPH".

 

College is paying off.

 

 

I had a similar "college is paying off" experience recently:

 

Oldest, age 21: "Studies show the first-born of the family is most likely to have the highest IQ"

 

#4, age 14: "What's IQ?"

A no hitter? NO chance. Everyone knows strikeout pitchers use too many pitches and can't pitch past the 6th or 7th inning.

The problem with the Twins lineup against Masterson today.

 

They insist on facing him one at a time!!! They'd do better if two or three faced him at once!!!

 

Adam West as Batman always benefited from the one at a time approach.
