Guest USAFChief Guests Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 Next time someone tells you RBI are meaningless, tell em to watch Chisenhall play third base. He's knocked in pretty much every Twins run this series.
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 You can get a score update by walking through the sports book on the way to the steakhouse. You have to read Chief with air quotes, where Vegas is involved. You can get a "score update" by walking through the "sports book" on the way to the "steakhouse". Ask for Brandon. HTH.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2013 Author Posted July 21, 2013 He 'n Paul Lynde used to share a cab quite often, I hear. In honor of The Hollywood Squares: Carnac: "Loneliness." Ed: "Loneliness." Carnac: "Is there an echo in here?" Ed: HAAAAHA AHHHHAAAAAHHHAAA OOOHHHHH HO HO HAAA HA! //pause// "Lonliness." Carnac: "What was Paul Lynde's answer to Peter Marshall's question of 'for what reason might one pound meat?' on the Hollywood Squares."
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 Colabello with a "duck fart" to "right field" for the "RBI."
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2013 Author Posted July 21, 2013 That was a good at bat by Colabello that started out looking like it would a bad at bat.

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2013 Author Posted July 21, 2013 Hicks... Shouldn't have done that.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2013 Author Posted July 21, 2013 It's like the Twins are trying to out choke us.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 Cleveland Indians: exhibit A for my belief that bad corner outfielders are pretty irrelevant, but bad infielders are hard to overcome.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 It's like the Twins are trying to out choke us.autocorrect on the fritz again?
Intramural Legend Verified Member Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 Hicks... Shouldn't have done that. he looks lost at the plate right now. If we had any CF options, a stink at AAA would serve him well.
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 He's knocked in pretty much every Twins run this series. Clutch./ Clutching his hands around his throat, as in Gaetti's quote long ago
buckninetyone Provisional Member Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 It's like the Twins are trying to out choke us. i'd like the doublemint twins to trfkldjafdkaljkjdfkaj
ashbury Verified Member Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 Sorry, Twins baseball is when the other team just gives us opportunity to win. In this case it was a booted ball, naturally we didn't take advantage of the extra out. Game's not over yet, but hope you enjoyed the bottom of the 6th tonight.

big dog Verified Member Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 Let's replace Duensing, please. Now is not too soon. -- not only did it happen, but they sent Steinbach out to pull him.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 Hey! Didn't you use to be Brian Duensing?
glunn Community Moderator Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 Why didn't Gardy come out himself for the pitching change?
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 Why didn't Gardy come out himself for the pitching change?I've heard that can be traumatic. He probably wants to tell friends and family first, in person, and then go public.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 21, 2013 Author Posted July 21, 2013 Why didn't Gardy come out himself for the pitching change? He had some bad Clams Pre Game
big dog Verified Member Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 That HBP by Duensing was kind of a joke, though- the batter had a big jersey that hung out when he moved back and the ball grazed the jersey. I think the ball probably missed the actual hitter by several inches, inside but not that bad.
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 GM Terry is shopping his LOOGY. When he asks what he can get for him, every other GM says: http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTlv3FO_v1J56KDDnNNg11CI6TCrevj6rriVdvTXEUw8QdaW6bs Seriously, that was one of the first relevant Match Game images on Google, why is this one yet to be used?
buckninetyone Provisional Member Posted July 21, 2013 Posted July 21, 2013 my imaginary 8 year old saw this post and you should be banned and i got him drunk
