I think it's going to have to be Lewis, but health is going to be the key factor there. Outside of those four, you're hoping to get those top few prospects (Jenkins, Rodriguez, Culpepper) up early on, all of whom can contribute

I've always felt they hesitated to run Lewis b/c of his history of soft tissue injuries.  Maybe with Falvey and Baldelli gone that changes?  I'd LOVE to see some of those young guys getting opportunities in the second half of the season.  This whole season is going to be about finding what they have anyway, so why not?

They just decided last year to let them be aggressive on the bases.

The change was noticeable and it was a big positive.

It was done with a declaration not a change in personnel.

It was actual baseball instead of station to station.

Can't help wonder what took them so long and I can't help but wonder about the damage done with the previous station to station philosophy.

That doesn’t happen…..22HR and 41 total XBH with a whopping 40 RBI …….damn near impossible to pull off. The definition of “not clutch”! To me, he and Lee consistently battled for biggest disappointment!!

Yeah, it has nothing to do with Baldelli batting Wallner lead-off or Falvey's roster construction. Here are the Twins RBI leaders...

2025 - 83 RBI Byron Buxton
2024 - 71 RBI Carlos Santana
2023 - 65 RBI Carlos Correa

The biggest problem with the roster is bad defense at almost every position. Buxton in CF seems to be the only position to count on. And then some people want to move him to one of the corner positions. Watching both Martin and Keaschall play is not good in the field. They will have to hit and steal bases to have value. And relying on the HR is this teams montra. How about trying something new, some hit and run and hit behind the runner. In some circles they call that playing baseball.
