Guerrero Jr., Springer, Bichette, and Kirk are well supported by Clement, Varsho, and others. The Twins have Byron Buxton. Will the Twins spend $160M in 2026 on their roster? Each person is free to conclude themsleves. Throughout the comment section there are occasional references to Pittsburgh, Colorado, and the Chicago White Sox. How did the Twins do against those teams last season? There is your answer to what fans can expect if there are not significant changes. The talent simply does not currently exist within the roster. We should not only expect change, we should call for it. Springer, Bichette,Kirk, and Barger improved from a total of 3.9 fWAR in 2024 to a combined 16.0 in 2025. I don't think I would bet the Twins have four guys that are going to improve by an average of 3 WAR each. Clement also improved. They don't even have Correa who would have been a prime candidate to improve given how bad he was in 2025. I would say that's what the Twins lack. That and an entire BP that was traded away.
twinstalker Verified Member Posted November 15, 2025 Posted November 15, 2025 Who's going to evaluate the return? The front office doesn't know what to look for, or it would draft and or sign it.
