I am a Minnesotan by birth and a Twins fan all my life, who now lives in southern California. Yesterday, I went with a friend to Luau Night (free Hawaiian shirt) and saw the Lake Elsinore Storm (Padres A Team) host the Inland Empire 66er's (Angel's A team). I always wear my Twins cap when I attend a game. The person who scanned my ticket told me "Sorry to hear about what happened to the Twins last week." Two additional people made comments about the team player dumping. Usually, people ask me about the significance of TC. Afterwards, I realized that the Twins issue last week very much hit the national spotlight.
