Let's get a rally going, nice double Jeffers!

Two on none out.

Correa not exactly going 100% down the line there. I don't think he beats it if he's running full speed, but fans would appreciate it if he tried I think.

I made this observation before the game started about Juan Soto doing the same thing earlier today, except Holliday booted the ball on the transition and still almost threw Soto out.  Must be something about making over $30M+ a year just weighs you down so you can't move as fast.

Well, we need to get going now. Damn.

I was just thinking we have done a great job of shutting down their best hitter.

My bad.

Not many SS make that play, give Swanson some credit...

Fully agree that Swanson made a good play recovering to start the DP.  Also can agree that if Correa moved faster than a John Deere Model A at a tractor pull, that he may have actually beat out the double play.

Correa showed  zero in that D.P. - 1ST pitch he had only HIMSELF to think about , all we hear about is Team this Team that-  wish the Twins could do  a D.J. Lemaihu like the Yanks did, Hope im wrong but its looking like Carlos best days are long gone  Be fortunate we got 2 wins against these guys ,   Gotta start making this pitcher work

That's who he is, we can't change that.

I'm not a big metrics guy, but the ball had an exit velo of 101.5 and an xBA of.540

Bats are noisy but not translating well. Maybe it'll change but meanwhile Paddack has to hold them.

This is why I would like to see one of Wallner, Larnach, or Lewis move to 1B in the offseason.  I just see Correa becoming a more permanent DH and turning into Javier Baez prior to his resurgence this year.  You have Lee or Keaschall for SS in the near future.
