To add they drafted Jeffers for his batting knowing he wasnt the best pitch caller and lacked supreme defensive skills for a catcher. Haha

I know, we all know Vazquez can't hit. Truly, his salary is the only reason I would think they prefer not to keep him in 2026 and trade Jeffers.

Skenes is scheduled for Saturday.  That's a tricky day because I'm sure MLB wants Skenes to start the ASG.
