Wade Davis's first inning line. 4 Hits, 5 Runs, 5 Earned Runs, 3 Walks, 2 Ks, 1 HR, 53 pitches. That's pretty chunky.

Walks will haunt

Phantom cam is grossing me out...both from elbow skin and its overusage.

Yeah it was kind of cool the first time, but I don't care what Perez's swing looked like when he grounded out weakly to short.

2 IP, at least 1 K in each IP, 1 XBH given up each inning, 0 runs in either inning, 0 BB in both innings.

Gibson appears to have fixed his consistency issues.

So how many people can say they watched Bert's first start in which he gave up a home run to the first batter he faced (Lee Maye)?

I can say it...

I was 5 years old and watching Sesame Street so I missed it... But..

I can say it.

I was 9 years old and listened to the Twins on the radio a lot. I don't remember them being on TV very often. The internet was really slow in 1970 as well.

Ok I have to work at 6:30. At this rate, is the game going to be done in time?

Maybe faster now that they brought in the Fresh Prince.

Ah, but you didn't have to because it was on TV in the Cities.

Gibson: I am sure we'll hear "downward plane" a lot. To me that fastball looks really straight, but his history is a lot of ground balls. I thought strike three to Butler was a great pitch.
