stringer bell Verified Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Parmelee for Morneau, Escobar for Florimon, Mauer catches day game after night game and Doumit sits with his sore ankle. I'm really glad Gibson is with the Twins, but it might have made sense to recall Herrmann for the Miami series at least.

I'm really glad Gibson is with the Twins, but it might have made sense to recall Herrmann for the Miami series at least. If Doumit can play, I really don't see the problem with Gibson getting a few days to acclimate to Anderson and the Twins. I consider this a blessing, really... It means Gardy has a harder time keeping Parmelee out of the lineup.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Thomas walks. I'm sure Dick wants Dozier to bunt him over.
GCTF Verified Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Crooked number in the first? 3 is more curvy than crooked.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Now a big fly from one of the next three guys and .....well Diamond is pitching, so I guess the Twins will have a chance.
GCTF Verified Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Friends and family only in attendance.
GCTF Verified Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Slowey was warming up briefly. Fortunately I have the Marlins broadcast so I won't be able to hear Dick drone on about all the puppies and kitties Slowey kicked while he was a Twin.
GCTF Verified Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 The Marlins should embrace their tacky surroundings an go with the Houston Astros style jerseys of the late 70s/early 80s. Taste the rainbow.

IdahoPilgrim Provisional Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 So if you strike out another pitcher, do you still get credit for it in the box score? Looks like Diamond is on track for 5 solid innings followed by a meltdown in the 6th.

stringer bell Verified Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Break time! I can catch 15 minutes of the game...on the computer.
James Verified Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Like this Those were bad. These are still pretty gross:

JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 You don't have to be paying much attention. You just hear Diamond has runners on and gave up a home run and you ask if it is the 5th or 6th. You pretty much know it will be one or the other.

stringer bell Verified Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 My last break, the Twins scored three to jump out, now the Marlins score three to knot it. Time to start a "Demote Diamond" thread.
GCTF Verified Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Kevin (stole from kids collecting for unicef) Slowey now the pitcher of record for the Marlins.
GCTF Verified Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Diamond stays in the game to bat. Looks like he'll be allowed to have that 6th inning meltdown afterall.
GCTF Verified Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 lulz...batter Diamond > pitcher Diamond.
IdahoPilgrim Provisional Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Close, but, you're way off. Huh? Is that like barely missing by a mile?
IdahoPilgrim Provisional Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 Are you sure it is going to take until the 6th for that meltdown to start? Hey, the guy is getting better all the time. Pretty soon he'll be melting down in the 4th, then in the 3rd, etc.
kydoty Verified Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 We just gave Polanco his first homer of the year.
FanFromAffar Verified Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 just tuned in. This is dissapointing but I have faith it'll turn around.

IdahoPilgrim Provisional Member Posted June 26, 2013 Posted June 26, 2013 *ugh* At this point I'm ready to trade Willingham for a bag of Cheetos.
