gunnarthor Old-Timey Member Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 GB v Det. Gads. I assume detroit wins but would be nice if they start to collapse.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 Kind of want Green Bay to win. That 1 seed is so crucial if you can get it
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 I'd be shocked if MN passed Detroit.... But it would be nice

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 Dandy Dan Campbell with another hair-brained decision to go for it on 4th down from his own 30. While leading. He manages every game like this. gunnarthor 1
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 Listen I get it. He goes for it on 4th down a lot. And it works a lot. But not every situation is the same. It’s a 3 point game and you just handed your opponent at least a field goal.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 Pretty sure both these teams are better than Minnesota

But it would be nice Detroit does play Buffalo next week. The Vikings could over take them. Not to say they over take them for the rest of the season......
nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 I think the best scenario for the Vikings is if this game ends in a tie. Minnesota would control their own destiny and still keep Green Bay 1.5 games back should the Vikings beat Atlanta. After this game, Green Bay's toughest game is against the Vikings. If they beat Detroit AND Minnesota, they'll probably win the division, and that's worst case scenario for me. Danchat and Parfigliano 2

I'm not sure it's the worst thing as I do think he's good, but I don't think he's great. That has put plenty of teams in a situation where they can win a bunch of regular season games but never able to win it all.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 I guess any thoughts of a lions offensive slowdown can be forgotten

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 Damn. I was hoping to see a lions letdown after that second half last week. And with buffalo the week after, we had a legit shot at the division. Still do. But Hopefully something wild happens here.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 You’ve got be kidding. Lucky.

I don't see a realistic scenario where the Vikings win the division without beating the Lions. And Buffalo coming in after this tight game will be a tough one for them.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 Lions needed the last minute to beat us and GB. They’re better but by how much

Should have the Vikings sent Reichard out to try a 67 yarder in that game?

They would have but for the penalty. It would have been a 72 yarder.
Parfigliano Verified Member Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 Dan Campbell's idiotic going for it on 4th down in situations like before that last FG will be DETs downfall. I can't wait to watch.

nicksaviking Community Moderator Posted December 8, 2024 Posted December 8, 2024 Man, the Panthers had a shot to beat the Eagles. That would have been a big deal.
