I do like seeing Wisconsin as a really, really bad team.

I'm not sure how that state ever got good football at all levels, but seems like the fans feel they deserve it but without any justification.

No idea. Based on the unjustified luck the Packers and Badgers have had for about three decades, and the laughably inflated egos the fans have grown because of it, I'm going to say, currently yes?

Gotta say, Gophers had a better season than I thought they'd have. I'm impressed. Not sure what bowl they'll go to but Fleck did a good job this year.

Yeah, and that includes several inexplicable losses. That team had no business losing to UNC, Rutgers or Michigan and Penn State had no businesses coming back and winning the game last week. Sounds like I'm complaining but I'm not; they keep their focus and Iowa is the only loss.

It’s unfortunate we only have Brosmer at QB for 1 year. Hopefully Fleck can find another underrated gem in the transfer portal.

Former Gopher Jacob Clark went to Missouri State where he's put up big numbers. Missouri State is moving up to FBS which will make them ineligible for the bowls and post season (I think), he could look to jump ship for his senior season. But maybe that's one of those situations where bridges were burned? This free-wheeling transfer stuff is so new that it's hard to get a good read on at the moment.

That's it for me...I can't be mad at the season but this feels like the eleventieth season in a row where I go: "Yeah, but the season is @%*$ing fantastic if you just don't lay those two eggs in winnable games...."

Give me those Rutgers and UNC games and I'm singing praises.  We're always just a tad short of what could have been.
