Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Is there a stat for most solo home runs by a team? Yes... Matter of fact... There is a probably a stat for most solo home runs by a team wearing blue on a Thursday in June following a night game with a team whose average height is less than 6 foot.

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 It's time for your nap. I'm napping right now... You may not have known this but I have the ability to post in my sleep. I'm telekinetic.
IdahoPilgrim Provisional Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 I know this is a bit premature, and it assume the absence of a Twins-typical 6th inning meltdown by a starter, but do you think we can get 7 full from Diamond today?
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 http://www.furballfrenzy.net/pics/werewaiting.JPG Well? We're waiting... OK... June 25 1964... Thursday... Memorial Stadium Baltimore... Oh shoot my Internet crashed... I'll have to look it up later... When it comes back.

They do seem to baby Diamond a little but if the Twins keep adding to the cushion. Gardy may give the pen a little break.

IdahoPilgrim Provisional Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Man, when it goes bad, it goes bad quickly!
Ultima Ratio Verified Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Both those pitches were grooved up and middle. What the heck there Scotty?
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Dunn definitely did....Jesus H!!!
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 I blame IdahoPilgrim. He jinxed Diamond AND put negativity into the universe at the same time.

Allow me to consult my crystal ball of hindsight... ...I'm going to have to go with a pretty resounding 'no' on that one.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 OK... Konerko... May have gotten the bullpen into go mode. Dunn... May have gotten... The Bullpen Coach Cuellar to say on the phone... "Yes Yes... They are up and loosening as fast as they can... Calling me again isn't going to help things... Swarzak is up... Relax... Unless you got a magic arm loosening pill... We are doing the best we can... Quit calling me every five seconds".
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Both those pitches were grooved up and middle. What the heck there Scotty? No kidding! There's missing and then there's that, how on earth do you figure you can get away with that crap to hitters like that?
IdahoPilgrim Provisional Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 I blame IdahoPilgrim. He jinxed Diamond AND put negativity into the universe at the same time. Ooops! My bad.
IdahoPilgrim Provisional Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Well, there goes Scotty's "quality start." Maybe they should change the stat just for the Twins - make it 5 innings instead of 6.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Ooops! My bad. Idaho... We've talked about the power of your jinxes before... Haven't we?
TwinVike61 Provisional Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Just like last night, this last place team doesn't know they should just give up when they're down by five runs. sheesh!
