I apologize, I didn't mean to quote the words, but express criticism of the sentiment we've all heard often and which was conveyed in your post.

When Buxton and Correa were healthy, was that indication of good training methods? Frequently injured guys getting hurt again doesn't tell me anything about the medical or training of the organization.

Yes, I agree completely on Buxton and Correa, as they have a long unfortunate track record and I expect them to get hurt, esp Buxton.

All the hurt young position players, many with soft tissue injuries, is where I'm wondering about strength training and conditioning.  Lee, Miranda, Kirilloff, etc.  ERod and Jenkins among others in the minors.  Maybe it isn't abnormal and nothing could be done to prevent it, but it *seems* like a new thing.  The Twins did fire their head trainer two years ago, but it seems things have not improved yet.

If you can reliably predict which players will get injured and which players will stay healthy you could make a lot of money as an MLB general manager.

I predict Buxton will be hurt every season left on his current contract with the Twins. It won't matter how many days off Rocco gives him. (It should be zero) Rest does not prevent injury unless you expected him to get hurt the day you rest him. As for who will stay healthy? You got me there, but I would predict players that aren't injured when you sign them or have a history of being injured would be better bets than the "distressed assets" that the Twins have been rostering.

If you can solve why people get plantar fasciitis and oblique strains you could make a lot of money
