greengoblinrulz Provisional Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Am a big believer in Duensing (as long as he's kept in pen) but this woulda been a great opportunity to give Caleb Thielbar a shot against a lefty in a meaningful game.
IdahoPilgrim Provisional Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Meanwhile, in the dugout, Gardy is wondering if he's been timewarped back to 2012.
TwinVike61 Provisional Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Ruh-roh...oh, never mind.. I type too slow.
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 For a minute there, this game was not quite totally completely fully absolutely in the bag like we all thought it was.
glunn Community Moderator Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 For a minute there, this game was not quite totally completely fully absolutely in the bag like we all thought it was. I am still worried.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 For a minute there, this game was not quite totally completely fully absolutely in the bag like we all thought it was. Where's Snepp or Labombo... They could find a video for that... Some kind of Zombie still coming at you after you blow it's head off not once but twice thing.
TwinVike61 Provisional Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Damn White Sox not giving up. Don't these last-place teams know they're supposed to just give up when they're down by five runs?
CairoCrown Provisional Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 So Sale not so great.Maybe the Twins can trade Dozier for him.

I'm losing most of my confidence in Duensing, but I second your thought on Thielbar.
TwinVike61 Provisional Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Cory and Danny talking about the funny reaction of Morny being ignored in the dugout after his homerun...there was no one to high-five him.
glunn Community Moderator Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 So Sale not so great. I would give the Sox any two of the Twins 5 starters for Sale -- their pick.
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Cory and Danny talking about the funny reaction of Morny being ignored in the dugout after his homerun...there was no one to high-five him. A prank like that is a mark of someone who is really liked as a teammate.
CairoCrown Provisional Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Yeah, they showed it on FSN. He started high-fiving and fist-bumping the air.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 I am still worried. Riverbrian: Nothing to worry about Glorm my boy... You get back to bed... I'll tuck you in. Glorm: OK... I won't worry... Good night Riverbrian: Goodnight... Don't let the bed bigs bite Glorm: (stops) What are bed bugs? Riverbrian: They are these little tiny bugs... They are so small that you can't see them... But they are there... Millions of them... In your bed... On the couch... They are everywhere... They feed on your blood... They are very interesting... Any way... Good night.
glunn Community Moderator Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Interesting leaping catch by Doumit. Not graceful but he got it done.

ashbury Verified Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Perk!!! The Perkinator. But with Correia notching *6* strikeouts in his 6+ innings, Perk falls further behind in the team leadership race.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 I am glad that I am not on the hook for your kids' shrink bills. lol... My favorite was: Me: Good night son... 2 year old Son: Good night Dad... Me: Shhh... What was that... 2 year old Son: What was what Daddy? Me: Shhhh... (Dramatic pause)... Nevermind... I thought I heard something in your closet... Good night buddy.

I don't know about the humor, but believe that the Julie avatar may be helping. And that look on her face makes me think that she knows about Olivia.

glunn Community Moderator Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 I'm on vacation. Four moderators on one thread. I almost wish that someone would try to violate the TD rules to see what happens.
Joe A. Preusser Verified Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 I couldn't tell if that was Julie Newmar, Ertha Kitt, or Lee Meriwhether. And I only know those three actresses from that one episode of the Simpsons where they meet Adam West.

I'm guessing that Ashbury's first ban will be me and then I will ban him right back and we will be down to two in no time at all.
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 I don't know about the humor, but believe that the Julie avatar may be helping. And that look on her face makes me think that she knows about Olivia. I may keep this avatar a while. I was actually thinking earlier that there is quite a bit in common between the two photos in terms of facial expression, probably going a long way toward explaining why I like them. But at this moment I am envisioning a conversation between the two of them being very one-sided. "Honey, I know you're enjoying your new-found attention from the boys, and of course they like the bewbs and all, but a bit of advice: to really impress them you simply can't surpass skintight leather."

I might try that on my one of my kids but my youngest is 10 years old so it would have to be about "Slenderman".
