Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 Sounds like fun. No, seriously, it sounds like fun to me. Seriously. Uh huh ... say that after you see my librarian personna at parties ...
big dog Verified Member Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 Thomas has been totally gobierno throughout both halves of the fifth inning. Two great catches, a double and a single, and he delivered a baby while Morneau was batting. Just...gobierno.

Joe A. Preusser Verified Member Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 Pffft ... only the best in the world! Umm, I believe the Minnesota Orchestra is the best in the world.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 Umm, I believe the Minnesota Orchestra is the best in the world. Well, quite honestly, they are up there ... they are a very, very fine orchestra. Well, were, until the board did their hatchet job because they don't understand music or the arts.
big dog Verified Member Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 Now, if you had said he delivered Mauer's Twins ... that would have been creative. Yeah, or if I said he'd delivered a baby from the 102-yr-old birthday girl in the stands. But I'm just reporting from the future. You think I'm making this up?
Joe A. Preusser Verified Member Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 Uh huh ... say that after you see my librarian personna at parties ... I'm an assistant manager at Walmart, not getting invited to a lot of high class parties.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 I'm an assistant manager at Walmart, not getting invited to a lot of high class parties. Technically, isn't your title Assistant To The Manager?
big dog Verified Member Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 Well, folks, I'm afraid that Doumit is turning back into Doumit after spending ten days being the Dohminator.
Joe A. Preusser Verified Member Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 Technically, isn't your title Assistant To The Manager? I'm not a Shrute, Jim. But yes.
big dog Verified Member Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 I'm not a Shrute, Jim. But yes. Beets, bears, and Battlestar Galactica.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 ok ... am out for a bit ... bbl
big dog Verified Member Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 An outfielder catches that ball. At least an outfielder with a little speed who doesn't have his back to the wall catches that ball. Parmelee, for instance.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 Beets, bears, and Battlestar Galactica. That's debatable.
big dog Verified Member Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 I don't blame Correia for walking Brown to get to Young, but that ball 4 sure looked like strike 2 to me.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 Consider closing your mouth, Delmon.
big dog Verified Member Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 Did I mention that I have completely soured on Escobar? That isn't changing so far tonight.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 That Can't happen Escobar. Now we got a big at bat.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 He had to bend over at the waste...base hit? Edit: that should be "waist." speaking of alcoholic stupor...
big dog Verified Member Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 That Can't happen Escobar. Now we got a big at bat. You told him the same thing last night. He has to start listening to you, or how's he going to improve? Look at the good work you've done with Cletus!

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 You told him the same thing last night. He has to start listening to you, or how's he going to improve? Look at the good work you've done with Cletus! That is so true... In many facets of life. I'm like an advice guru... Ask me any question... In any area... I will give the correct advice.
big dog Verified Member Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 OK, KC has thrown 112 pitches through five innings, and given up one run. Time for him to take a shower and go buy some lottery tickets. This reminds me of the time I was at the Dome in the early 80s, watching Rick Lysander throw an 11-hit complete game shutout. Total mastery...
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 He had to bend over at the waste...base hit? Edit: that should be "waist." speaking of alcoholic stupor... I thought you meant... Bend over and create waste.
snepp Verified Member Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 We nearly had ourselves a Bremergasm.
big dog Verified Member Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 We are totally winning this LOB contest. Not even close.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 I just had a thought.... We might need to score to win this game...
