Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Florimon... Just don't strike out... Just don't strike out... He has been striking out a bit in those situations lately. Does anyone think its possible that he's changing his approach just to make contact and by doing so... He's screwing things up and not making contact?

It's also possible he's just not a very good hitter.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 I blame RB. I accept full responsibility... Besides... I would never cross Chief... He probably still has access to some Bombers at the Tucson base and he could fly over and hit my house while I'm sleeping.
big dog Verified Member Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Geez, let's get this Phillies pitcher out of the game already.
CairoCrown Provisional Member Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Stat question: Does a runner forced out on 2nd on the front end of an inning-ending DP count as a man LOB?

Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Does Manual send his starter out for the bottom of the 6th?
Ultima Ratio Verified Member Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Wow Howard is slower than Doumit and maybe Thome.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Didn't think so. Thanks for the confirmation. Hitting into Double Plays is a great way to keep your LOB down.
big dog Verified Member Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Well, that was a fun play- groundball past Justin, Escobar out in almost medium-deep right field makes the play, Pelfrey covering for the out.
big dog Verified Member Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Wow Howard is slower than Doumit and maybe Thome. I think Howard might be slower than Doumit carrying Thome.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Does Manual send his starter out for the bottom of the 6th? Nope 99 pitches.
big dog Verified Member Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Hitting into Double Plays is a great way to keep your LOB down. So are rainouts.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 I think Howard might be slower than Doumit carrying Thome.......while pulling a 6 bottom plow.
CairoCrown Provisional Member Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Wow Howard is slower than Doumit and maybe Thome.I don't know. If Thome ran any slower, he'd be jogging in place.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 So are rainouts. As are 3 run dingers.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 I don't know. If Thome ran any slower, he'd be jogging in place. Konerko is slower than them all
NorthwestTwinsFan Provisional Member Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 This game is going to buy Pelfrey at least a couple more starts.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 I don't know. If Thome ran any slower, he'd be jogging in place. Definintly Not 4G... Let's put on a suit sit in a bean bag and ask some goofy kids.
CairoCrown Provisional Member Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Please, oh please don't send Pelfrey out for the 7th.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 This game is going to buy Pelfrey at least a couple more starts. That and the millions of dollars he makes.
