big dog Verified Member Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 This game is going to buy Pelfrey at least a couple more starts. Yeah, you are probably right. And I can't say that's a terrible decision. He's looked decent tonight, and the last couple of starts [cue music consistent with impending disaster].
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Nope 99 pitches. Good call. A manager gets 5 innings out of a starter who littered the bases with runners all game, and takes him out before he has a chance to blow a lead he doesn't really deserve. hmmmmm....interesting.
big dog Verified Member Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Remember that game when we scored more than 4 runs? Wasn't that fun? Could we do that again?
big dog Verified Member Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 I really like what I see from Arcia. He yanked a ball about two million feet but foul, now he goes the other way on an outside breaking pitch. Love to see him doing both things on appropriate pitches.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 It kinda amazes me that Pelfrey has struck out that many batters
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 back to back hits from lefties off a lefty...tasty. Savory, even!
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Not what I had in mind, but at least it's a run.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Florimon comes thru big time. Ummm... Since he struck out last time.
big dog Verified Member Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 So two on, nobody out, and we score a run on a bunt and a groundball to the pitcher. This isn't even small-ball, it's molecule-ball. Let's finish the inning with a bomb. No, sorry, it's Jamey time.

big dog Verified Member Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 The horse comes out for the seventh. It would make me happy if he finished the seventh. And isn't making me happy what this is really all about? Come on Pelf!
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Geez my MLB.TV feed is way behind
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 I'm still in the bottom of the 6th

big dog Verified Member Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 I'd rather face the young Mayberry than the old Mayberry. Big John was a scary guy holding that bat. Young Mayberry, not so much.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Out of respect to ChiTown... Nobody post the score. Pfft it's ok. Just frustrating. I'm not going this route next year
big dog Verified Member Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 That was awesome, how we scored 9 runs in the bottom of the 6th after two outs. Oops, sorry Chi-town.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Geez my MLB.TV feed is way behind Wow... Look at that... Gardy and Andy are going at it in the dugout... OMG... Gardy is on top of him and wailing away... Mauer is trying to break it up and Gardy just tossed him aside like a rag doll. Wow... Andy just did a reversal... Tables turned now... Wonder what happened.
CairoCrown Provisional Member Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Please, oh please don't send Pelfrey out for the 7th.Pshh, look at this idiot.
big dog Verified Member Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 Thank you, Mr. Pelfrey. I am officially happy. For now.
