Found this interesting. They listed two Minnesota Twins in their article. CJ Culpepper and....Byron Chourio, who got an honorable mention here at Twins Daily but was left out of Gleeman's top 40 and Twins' org lists on Baseball America and Baseball Prospectus. He was #21 on Fangraphs' Top 36 back in June of 2023. I just found him to be an interesting inclusion....perhaps he has a big season in front of him!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.  It's always fun to see this kind of stuff.  It would make the Arraez trade look really great if Chourio turned out to be an above average player.

That's a fun exercise.

But I can't imagine how many things would have to go right for Chourio to make a top 100 list next year. Will he even start at A ball this year? If he doesn't, seems hard to catch the eyes of the national guys. Also hard to envision the increase in power typically required to get the national guys talking.

Hope they're right!

I would have thought Wikour or Keashell would have been considerations for this list.

Fangraohs writers listed no one in the Twins.... Those two were from scouts. I was kind of bummed about that, given how many made that list.

Yeah, they have a 45+ FV on Raya and half the pitchers they chose over him are only at a 40 and the rest are at 45, I don't see any 45+. Doesn't really track with lots of the other stuff they do.
