Joe A. Preusser Verified Member Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 Hmm, if Gardy wanted to play Colabello I might have given Hammer the day off instead of Morney against a very hittable righty. Still, I think we'll tag Harang for 6+.
Joe A. Preusser Verified Member Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 Scratch that, sounds like Morneau has the flu. Go Twins.
greengoblinrulz Provisional Member Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 Bremer says that Harrang/Correia both had good outings last time out, so expect a low scoring pitchers duel......with their combined 10+ ERAs. Such a tool
jokin Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 Hmm, if Gardy wanted to play Colabello I might have given Hammer the day off instead of Morney against a very hittable righty. Still, I think we'll tag Harang for 6+. Because Willingham has a lifetime .1053 OPS against Harang. You're right though, this is the game of the series where the Twins could get 10 or more runs (Doumit has a .1091 career OPS, too).
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 And we're off and running. 2 batters in, down 1. I can't keep up... 3 batters in, down 2.

I did see Doumit treats him like a pitching machine.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 Back to Back shots... We got some catching up to do.
Joe A. Preusser Verified Member Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 And we're off and running. And down 1-0 with another HR allowed. Blech. EDIT: Down 2-0 with 2 HR allowed.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 Dickbert: "No way that can be an error." me: "But it hit him in the glove."
Joe A. Preusser Verified Member Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 Didn't lay out for it, hit him in the glove...of course it's a hit.
Top Gun Provisional Member Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 It's all good, we got our ace goin today.
Joe A. Preusser Verified Member Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 Let's just be thankful that Dick and Bert can't have biological kids together.

Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 Dickbert: "No way that can be an error." me: "But it hit him in the glove." Tough Play but a Major leaguer should make it. However, I give him full credit for moving his feet and setting up to make the play correctly... That type of thing doesn't happen at the 3B in a Twins Uniform that often.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 Let's just be thankful that Dick and Bert can't have biological kids together. Interesting combination from the Gene Pool... It would probably produce something along the lines of Carrot Top.

I didn't think it should have been all that tough. Tall hop, but that's a lot easier to deal with than a ball that unexpectedly stays down. A big league third baseman makes that play almost every time.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 Whoever was swingin' the ugly stick when Harang was born caught him on the sweet spot.

I said "a Major leaguer should make that play". I was just happy with the feet movement. When it comes to D... Step one is always step one.

Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 2 IP, 2 H, 2 HR, 2 R, 2 BBs. Dueces are wild.
greengoblinrulz Provisional Member Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 Did Kevin Gorg just say that Colabello is primarily an OF but comfortable @ 1B??He is the WORST broadcaster in the Twin Cities & that is saying something.

GCTF Verified Member Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 So I have the volume on for the game for the first time in a while. I'm gonna need to keep the sharpened pencils out of reach so they don't end up in my eardrum.

GCTF Verified Member Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 Telly Hughes says "hi." Are you sure? I couldn't understand a word he said.
Guest USAFChief Guests Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 That same exact thing used to happen to my team a lot when I coached my boys in T-ball.
