A White Sox loss today will put the Twins in a tie for 3rd place in the division. If the Twins can get hot and the other teams get cold, maybe the Twins can be in contention, at least for a while.

In truth I had gone on a trail up 1600 ft of elevation gain to as pretty a mountain lake as you could wish for. Tough call whether the Twins come-from-behind win was as good as that.

I'm a sucker for scenery... when I take family vacations... I don't fly... i pack the wife and kids in the car and we drive cuz I don't want to fly over stuff... I want to see it all.

 

I live in Eastern North Dakota... I can't remember the last time I saw actual scenery.

 

The closest was last summer... I saw a nice girl riding a bike... Leaning over the handlebars with her shirt hanging loose and providing a surprise for male drivers on the road.

 

I nearly plowed into the car that slowed in front of me. Bounced my head off the windshield breaking to avoid the accident.

Well I'll be jiggered, I waited all day to watch that replay and regretted wasting my time right up until the bottom of the 9th. Now it all seems like time well spent......ok not really but I'm at least in a good mood before bed.
