Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2023 Posted June 25, 2023 Rally killer correa really busted it down the line on that inning ending DP

He does take days off. Correas best days are behind him I'd argue the other way around and say Baez's best days are behind him.

We can start complaining about his excessive celebration when everyone starts hitting like him. My issue isn’t the celebration, and it’s not even excessive in my opinion. It’s that we have been reduced to celebrating things that we should expect to be routine.

OptimisticTwinsFan Verified Member Posted June 25, 2023 Posted June 25, 2023 7 outs of an xBA of .400+ through 6 innings is just comical

UpstateNewYorker Verified Member Posted June 25, 2023 Posted June 25, 2023 Decent outing by Ober. Same with Lopez yesterday. No run support. (I know, it's a broken record.)
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2023 Posted June 25, 2023 Ober did well. Deserves a better fate

Robert Floren Verified Member Posted June 25, 2023 Posted June 25, 2023 Why do Twins strikeout a lot against most any pitcher? Hitting coach should wake up and fix it.
9moons27 Verified Member Posted June 25, 2023 Posted June 25, 2023 Julien's rep was good hitter, shaky fielder. He looks shaky at both.

Reusse from the article, "I've liked the new, feisty Rocco of 2023 getting tossed from a game once in a while and making more bold moves, even when mysterious. Baldelli is a better manager now than when he was the Manager of the Year."

He has 2 hits today and a .770 OPS on the season as a rookie. He does strike out a lot, but I don't see how he isn't a good hitter. Granted, he probably shouldn't be batting leadoff this early in his career, but that's on the Twins, not Julien.

Has size 13 to bury in batter's butt if he fails to catch on. Comfortable with ignoring calls from FO."
OvertheHill Verified Member Posted June 25, 2023 Posted June 25, 2023 At least he didn’t GIDP, but still needed to K . This team’s dead in the water I’m afraid…

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 25, 2023 Posted June 25, 2023 Chasen and Spencer on the same roster. What happened to guys named Steve?

Don't have cable so there isn't that temptation. When the Twins take a s*, I listen to see how my favorites are doing (Farmer/Lewis) and listen to opposing radio booth (when they are decent) to learn the other team. Same here and I finished the book, so back and sadly not much has changed.
