So Twins draft 4th. What are the odds Appel is available at that spot? And that the Twins draft him?

 

I really feel like the Twins should bite the bullet on a Boras client for this one. They know he doesn't have the leverage of going back to college, and he's the closest to MLB ready of a pitching prospect in the draft.

 

I realize he's been rumored as the #1 or #2 prospect so the odds aren't great... but Man would it be nice to get this guy in a Twins uniform.

Why? Whoever drafts Appel has ALL the bargaining power after he acted so foolishly last season. Appel HAS to take whatever is offered him or he'll lose several million dollars by sitting it out in an independent league for a year.

 

If Appel is there, you take him.
