So, do this warrant a discussion on an amendment to the policy on appropriate posts? All posters who jinx the club in a game thread are subject to a 3-game suspension?

Don't even think about it. I wont hesitate to tell my Mom.

And another walk for Hicks. Why don't people throw him a strike on 3-2???

Because he's starting to hit them. And pitchers are still hoping he'll chase a bad one like he did so often the first few weeks.

Yeah, that's what I'm hoping. Gotta like his strike zone judgement right now. I don't think he's afraid to swing, I think he's got a really good eye.

It's a mystery to me. Wasn't he 1-2 at one point?

While I want to comment, I will remain silent until the end of the inning, removing any possibility of jinx.

Yes, let's make the policy even more subjective and difficult to enforce.

This is our inning. 7th is often good when we are down.

I'm taking a bow... Thank you thank you.

That was a good call. I wasn't sure if Doumit even knew he was in the lineup.

Good call.

Professional Hitters. Unless you are a masher like Dunn or Thome... They should all be able to beat a pronounced shift like that.

Doumit... Hey Doumit... Doumit... Shoot it the other way.

Keep going -- we need 2 more runs.

Low and inside... Parm will crush it.

Look for it.

You are on fire my friend!

I'm more optimistic about Parmelee, partly because I think he's playing out of position, but I would sure like to see both do well. We could use the help.

Gardy's not having trouble finding ways to let Arcia hit. Nice to see.

The problem with Parmelee is that if he moves to his "natural" position, he has to hit a hell of a lot more than he does right now. At least with Plouffe, you can deal with a .740 OPS if he figures out how to play third but .740 isn't going to cut it from your first baseman.
