I like this move. Minaya found better command and a nice change-up last year. He’s over 30, with limited upside, but he could be a pretty solid guy in the middle innings.

I can’t really argue with this move, as long as his role isn’t too high-leverage. He was solid last year (2.48 ERA, WHIP around 1.1, 4-Seamer up to about 95)

It's a minor league deal so the risk is non-existent.
