Homer Hankies

I wasn't quite sure where this thread should go, so I figured it would fit here. 

 

I grew up a Twins fan living in Virginia. My dad had 87 and 91 homer hankies framed hung up in the house. I don't totally know the rules around them though. Are they generally created for every division championship? Will there be one for this year most likely? 

 

If so, how does a Virginian get their hands on a few of them? Where are they sold?

I haven't heard anything about a 2019 Homer Hanky, although it would be fitting for this club!

 

The last time they were available was in 2010, and at that time they were available to purchase online at the Twins official site.

lol. Still have my 91 home hankie. I was just a little kid at the time and might have blown my nose with it once or twice.

I have both '87 and '91 hankies ... and have them at the ready ...

The last homer hankies were only used to dry the tears of disappointment from Twins fans after the Yankees swept the floor with them. The ghosts of the center field pine trees haunted the Twins. Some say a faint whisper of a chainsaw echos around Target Field to this day.
